yes you can. give it a $20 barrel upgrade and its consistant and accurate. and its actually more air efficient than most people think the cyclone cycles on left over air.
no barrel can fix velocity inconsistency which is a major cause of inaccuracy. and with the a-5, cycling the bolt and firing the ball uses more air than that of other guns never mind the bad hopper they put on it. an a-5 will get a few hundred shots off a 68/4500 tank, an invert mini will get over a thousand. the mini will also do it faster, smoother, more accurately, and more quietly than the a-5, and you can put a decent hopper on it unlike the cyclone.

response trigger isnt double, it uses the blowback from your previous shot to give the inertia needed to fire another ball without puling the trigger, given that you finder is there to activate the response. i have an A5 with response and flatline and i dont think id ever recommend any other primary gun for woodsball. and (give me hell) my spyder fenix is my favorite speedball gun.
to tonyromo: about 60 bucks but you have to install it...thats the price without istallation from an airsmith... and to mastercarlangas: wat upgrades you talkin about I'll tell you cuz I had a fully upped A-5 and junk for woodsball before I started playin tourney ball...and also whats your setup your using and want to use to bump your status to pro..? Response trigger is a complex trigger setup which allows 3 round bursts and more automatic firing
Double trigger is a simple upgrade like a double bass pedal on drum kit, you learn to use two fingers in tandem to increase firing rate (also called 'walking the trigger).
You can do three round bursts with it too... this I know for certain. A screw adjusts the gas inlet to the system and you just have to practice with the pressure you apply to the trigger to 'get' the 3 round burst...

...I don't remember saying there was a magic button saying "Push here for 3 round burst" lol. I just said you could do 3 round bursts with it. I know it can do full auto also through the same method of adjusting the inlet screw (although it can certainly push out more than 8 or even 10/sec)
if your gonna spend 200 bucks on a gun get a proto slg they are faster more reliable lighter and more accurate and use less air that will save you money
depends on what you play. but if you play both, it really doesn't matter. just get a black or dark color speed ball gun with a halo and you gotta marker better than ANY tippmann out there.

at my local pro shop they actually recomand not to buy a gun with response triger they just say get one with e triger for like extra $30 if cant afford it buy just regular semi and save your money and start slowly upgradeing your marker.
Some fields don't allow full auto, but there are ways to get around that; I've seen a few fields that don't allow full auto but they do allow Ramping to full auto. Kind of stupid in my opinion, but that's their thing.
response triggers are not double triggers a response trigger is a trigger you hold down and it kepps firing basically a full auto but a response trigger is ussually illigal and i belive the A-5 may come with it
a response trigger is just a system that uses the air hooked up to the gun to push the trigger back to you faster so that you can pull it again and therefore fire faster. it does not make it full auto.
You can get a double trigger response trigger. What happens is you have to pull less to shoot it, and when you hold it down the vibration of the gun knocks your finger forward and back slightly, which fires it again. Mostly they reach a maximum bps of 13, it is a burst, not full auto.
RT isn't a double trigger, dude.. its a piston firing thing behind the normal trigger. pretty much makes it super sensitive to you can achieve high rates of fire.

tiberius, mabybe, but spyder na. 3 of mye friends use spyder and every time we play the ball breaks in the gun, it stops fireing, it falls apart, etc and i have no problem whit my tippmann A-5.

this guys a dumbasss, i have only been into paintball for a few months now... and oh my gawd only a friggin hobo would think an a5 can keep up, even my friggin 200 dollar spider pilot kicks its ass, and i just have a 50 dollar hopper and a 16oz co2 tank overall it cost me like 300 bucks with some pods and a remote

response trigger isnt double, it uses the blowback from your previous shot to give the inertia needed to fire another ball without puling the trigger, given that you finder is there to activate the response. i have an A5 with response and flatline and i dont think id ever recommend any other primary gun for woodsball. and (give me hell) my spyder fenix is my favorite speedball gun.

to tonyromo: about 60 bucks but you have to install it...thats the price without istallation from an airsmith... and to mastercarlangas: wat upgrades you talkin about I'll tell you cuz I had a fully upped A-5 and junk for woodsball before I started playin tourney ball...and also whats your setup your using and want to use to bump your status to pro..? Im captain of FlawlesS ProdigY....pro team in the rising... so I will be more than happy to share advice...

Response trigger is a complex trigger setup which allows 3 round bursts and more automatic firing
Double trigger is a simple upgrade like a double bass pedal on drum kit, you learn to use two fingers in tandem to increase firing rate (also called 'walking the trigger).

You can do three round bursts with it too... this I know for certain. A screw adjusts the gas inlet to the system and you just have to practice with the pressure you apply to the trigger to 'get' the 3 round burst...

no what you can do is adjust the screw so you can find the sweet sport better you can set the sweet spot to 3 shoot but some on could you your gun and find it and do full auto so...TECH. ITS STILL ONLY FULL AUTO!!

...I don't remember saying there was a magic button saying "Push here for 3 round burst" lol. I just said you could do 3 round bursts with it. I know it can do full auto also through the same method of adjusting the inlet screw (although it can certainly push out more than 8 or even 10/sec)

depends on what you play. but if you play both, it really doesn't matter. just get a black or dark color speed ball gun with a halo and you gotta marker better than ANY tippmann out there.

Yeah... In my oppinion Tippmann sucks.. For woods ball get a spyder Mr2 or for speedball get ANYTHING besides a tippmann

Tippmann are strong durable, very upgradable guns. I love my 98C to bits... but I know it's not the best I can get for the money.
What these guys are saying is probably right. The Tippmann is highly dependable and good for straight woodsballing.
But straight out the box? There are now better markers for the money. Ions are a good alternative.

response triger sucks.
at my local pro shop they actually recomand not to buy a gun with response triger they just say get one with e triger for like extra $30 if cant afford it buy just regular semi and save your money and start slowly upgradeing your marker.

Some fields don't allow full auto, but there are ways to get around that; I've seen a few fields that don't allow full auto but they do allow Ramping to full auto. Kind of stupid in my opinion, but that's their thing.

a response trigger is just a system that uses the air hooked up to the gun to push the trigger back to you faster so that you can pull it again and therefore fire faster. it does not make it full auto.

You can get a double trigger response trigger. What happens is you have to pull less to shoot it, and when you hold it down the vibration of the gun knocks your finger forward and back slightly, which fires it again. Mostly they reach a maximum bps of 13, it is a burst, not full auto.

Dump the flatline and go Apex. You'll see a big difference. Response trigger is nice but I prefer the e-grip.

RT isn't a double trigger, dude.. its a piston firing thing behind the normal trigger. pretty much makes it super sensitive to you can achieve high rates of fire.
