THANKS!!!!!!! its help me my car was with that light for 3 months and not even a mechanic know how to turn it off, thanks for your help, and iam agree viol999 on the thumb down.
@gromshit101 does it just come on for a few seconds then go off or does it flash on and off when you start it if its flashing it was probably getting ready to stay solid and not go out the flashing if its doing that means its getting ready to need an oil change
Thanks from a 62 year old woman who lives alone and just had the oil changed. I knew there was a way to reset, but really appreciated the clarity and ease that you lent to this project.
DUDE THANK YOU!!! I called the dealership and the guy was like oh you have to bring the car in...no you dont for those of us who are do it yourself kind of people, that maintenance our own cars but are missing this small detail that isnt in the manual this was very helpful.
@GilliganRocks hi, can you help me reset the maintenance required, cause I just change oil it my self & the light is still there, what should I do? thanks in advance.
works on my 04 civic, although I don't get any display.... I've had three cars, one toyota, one chevy, and one honda, and the method to reset the MRL was always similar
I am at my mechanic's now, and he wasn't able to figure out how to get the reset to work on my xB. So I just searched on YouTube, watched your video, and showed him! You're awesome!
Thanks -- I did this once before but I forgot how to do it. And the lights been flashing for the last 3 weeks now (but I changed the oil - so it's all good). Thanks again for the video!

For 2nd Gen XB's you need to be in Trip A instead of ODO. Other than that, spot on!
