I remember teaching American Pilots and seeing the aptitude for learning that they had within themselves being as clear as day. You should be so very proud of the men and women in your Armed Forces. Whilst I transferred from teaching to being a pilot in the AAC, I still have the luxury of spending time around such amazing people.

First off I've served 5 tours over there. We were lied to about Iraq Period. The freedom you mention is nothing like what you have here. There is none. The killings now are mostly one tribe against another. One Idea against another Idea. It'll never stop because it is not in the mind set of the people to co exist. It just isn't like here. It will never be like here. we should leave now, however we won't leave because of the strategic value of the place. This was never about democracy it is oil.

I don't disagree that the invasion into Iraq wasn't warrented. Given that, a very oppressed people have been freed from the yoke of oppression. Thier has been much fighting since the election of a government in free elections. Most of it has been political in nature and is now comming to an end. So was the invasion for a greater good after all?
