cheater! he's using what looks like a very expensive METAL mouthpiece which can make even an 8 year old sound as good as him. Im not trying to let you down but ive been playing sax for 8 years and from experience know how easy it is to achieve such great tone from a metal mouthpiece. now raw real tone like this can be achived from a student mouthpiece, you should try it kid!

What a waste of talent working on Kenny G... I have no clue what he was trying out for, but if it my jazz band, I would have rejected him at hist first added ornamental grace note lick, if not when he put his horn in his mouth. Shame, he could be great, the kid needs a little Bird.
when someone can understand good tone at that age, you know they have talent. i would say move onto the alto to learn the basics of the instrument, and you'll notice more repertoire available for alto sax. When you play soprano...don't play out of the side of your mouth, it is a bad habit to develop. Great job, never quit!!!!
