Economic reasons?

So, they released those two in order to get people like Trevor Murd...Jethro Holliday, Bobby Lashley and etc.

Petey Williams and Sonjay Dutt were two great talents and they were homegrown wrestlers, and IMO it was a mistake to release them in order to hire more pretty useless ex-WWE "superstars".

If I booked TNA I would have already made Petey Williams a main eventer. i feel if you've been in the company for a long time then you should of at least had one shot at the title. Williams has been stuck in the X division forever. TNA is slow as hell at putting the right talent up in the main event. Hopefully when Sting and Booker T retire more will be pushed up to the main event. Also when Angle takes some time off. I really hope TNA doesn't push Trigg to much though when he debuts in the ring

i actually like curryman.. dude is funny tho the comedy in tna x-division is over the top, we don't need black machismo anymore or weird guru dutt skits.. petey williams as mini-steiner is just a diss to the guy and i dunno how it makes his charachter more compelling either.. as far as the ring work goes, x-division is awesome .. they just need to stop making corny characters

Jay Lethal's gimmick actually has helped him. He became more over with the fans and was used alot better after the gimmick change. Curry man gimmick is made by Chris Daniels because it is him and he'll probably lose it after he wins the X title again. Also the little Petey pump thing is to raise him higher in the levels of TNA. he'll break away from Steiner then beat Steiner. He'll then get a push to the main event.

The Curry Man gimmick was actually made by the guy who trained Christopher Daniels I belive and they got the inspiration from a japenesse magna

Actually most of wikipedia is reliable. And trust me because I have a editor account. All I see and hear is do you have a reliable source? I needed a source to show who won a match at Slammiversary. It is actually kind of a tough place to place crap in. But the TNA stuff isn't as protected as the WWE stuff. I've been having to fix most of the TNA stuff though.
