  • JUST AMAZING!!!!! Bravo Maestro... :)

  • That is awsome, I wanted to do this, but I don't have cameras and all that stuff!!! INCREDIBLE

  • @jlengjams you're right. My the transcribed piece for viola is actually g major.

  • what's the tempo/ how many beats per measure? I ask cause I'm performing this in a viola quartet.

  • This is so cool!!! :D

  • My goodness. This is AWESOME!! Well done!

  • Nice performance. But, where's the cello we can hear? ^^

  • BRAVO! when you play the third movement do you play the "optional" part up an octave? I rarely see it played that way, but it is SUBLIME.

  • THANK YOU!

  • I love this song ^^

    you're so great

  • Very creative! Bravo!

  • Simply amazing. A beautiful piece well-played. Congratulations.

  • Bravo my dear talented friend!! I know what a drag combining multitasks is. did you see Shlomo Minz playing this concerto?

anyhow, I have a Mozart lied video conducted by him in my classical channel "gingerona" check it out if you'd like. I enjoyed your musicality and performance. keppe'm coming!! Yours, Karin

  • wow! I imagine the satisfaction of recording all the 4 violins and so more....

Like a violin player, I've played the 4 violins too with orchestra (different concerts, obviously) , but this is amazing!!! Congrats!!!!

  • My goodness, this was AMAZING!

  • That was really neat to watch..

  • Fantastic! This deserves much more exposure. Wonderful work. ;-)

  • Bottom Row, Center Screen, Is that the Cello part?

And did you just play the notes in your range, and then drop the pitch digitally,

    or am I hearing things?

And by the way, BLOODY BRILLIANT!

  • @ThisTooShallPass314. You are right. Played on the viola. Pitch shifted an octave lower..

  • Dear Jason,

you have my biggest respect! I know, you are MD like me and therefore my big respect, that you are creating some beautfiul music parallely to your job. Violin music is my favourite.

Are you still working in ophthalmology? I have started as resident in ophthalmology just this year. Many greetings and best wishes to you from Germany. Big respect!

  • ... I hear the cello, but there's a viola playing the part... Visibly, I mean.... ????????

  • Beautifully played!

  • I LOVE THIS! Show me more! XD XD XD

  • Fantastic! Now you *have* to do movements 2 and 3 :)

  • well done! very well played ! that's one of the greatest pieces ever! :))

  • C'est magnifique! Beautifully played! Looking forward to your interpretation of Beethowen's Symphony No. 8 :D

  • Excellent - well done indeed. Did you play the cello as well?

I've had a go at the 1st movement of the Mendelssohn octet - it's on here somewhere - but I didn't have a video

  • this is just pure epic. one day i will do this too.

  • there was no decrescendo after :041. It's just a musical way to play the phrase, but it is no decresendo. Also there is solo instrument playing alone, of course it is different to the tutti parts. but no decrescendo.

I like this guys intonation. Quite bright and nearly perfect. Better then the Vampires in the 3rd Vid. in the row at the right :)

  • Fucking amazing. Quite possibly the best independent version I've heard on the internet. There was a slight rit and decrescendo right after 0:41, and a slight loss of the upper melody at 2:39

  • bravo! :D

  • Sexy :D

  • Franchement, je suis émerveillée! Les 4 violons rassemblés sur une même image et joués par une même personne, bravo! Il fallait y penser. C'est la première vidéo de vous que je vois mais je vais découvrir votre univers, promis. Continuez, c'est magique...

  • M'encanta!

  • Nice effort!!! I've always wanted to do this. We who are humbled salute you!!

  • Wow! Amazing! I'm speachless! Extremely inspired! WELL DONE! I take off my hat to you! Keep it that way!

  • Nicely done! Were you using pitch shift on the viola to get a cello part?

  • woow..

  • Bravo! Encore!
