Why must he be compared to the greatest musician/song writer of all time. Just because John is his father has nothing to do with how good Sean has to be. Everyone is born different, John had a greater gift and worked at it with everything he had. Sean has had it easy, and who knows, maybe he works just as hard, but that doesn't mean he can become half of what his father was. Cut him some slack, he is a good music artist.

Julian & Sean are on good terms, Julian surprised Sean not long ago by showing up, when Sean was on tour in Europe; and they might not do an album together, because now Sean is playing w/Yoko's group, but yes, they would do lunch.

PS: Julian NEVER said how much he hates his Dad or Sean, only that it was difficult.

Yeah I don't think he ever said he hated his dad. I think he did not like his Dad and he was bitter at times and who wouldn't be in his shoes. My dad kind of abandoned me in a similar way and you go through a lot of feelings. For me I don't feel hate it's more disappointment in him and perhaps some regret for what a father/son relationship should really be. So I get Julian. He had a reason to be upset. But toward the end he and his dad were starting to become friends.

And his life ended too soon. I think julian has been angrey with Yoko, be he said recently that they get along now and are on speaking terms. They will never be close or buddy buddy, but they are nice to each other when they meet. I don't think Julian ever had an issue much with Sean. I think their problems were because Julian didn't like Yoko.
