Do you think that the headphone out of the protector It's better than the headphone out of the ALO X? Because If I get the protector for my JH16 PRO, I won't have the balanced cable on time. For now I just have a Null Audio Lune cable. And I still don't know if I get the Protector and after get a balanced cable, or get the Predator with DAC to use with my computer. Right now I'm using the Nuforce uDac. OBS: I'll use the Protector or the Predator with an Iphone 4 and the new Ipod nano! Thank You!

@rmappita I preferred the headphone out of the ALO Rx over the RSA Protector. When the Protector is running balanced, I preferred the Protector.

The Beats Studio's already have a built in amplifier that will completely degrade the signal from the much high quality external portable headphone amplifiers. Get a better headphone without a built in amplifier to take full advantage of these high quality external portable amplifiers.

@greenrolaids yea but lets say you enjoy listening to dub rap or dnb then those headphones will sound fucking great (i personally have the beats pro) their not designed to listen to rock and classical music

Ok, my UE 18 Pro arrived today.. I do like it but I have to say the bass is way too much for me.. I kind a regret it. Now for sure I'm going to plan on getting the JH 13 Pro.. But to do with this amp, I hope the bass wouldn't override the JH 13 Pro.. Because I'm sure it will to due with the UE 18 Pro.

Yep, I will do a full review even with a comparison to my ALO Rx. But it will be most likely a written review. You can buy LOD cable from anywhere but I recommend from TWag.

None of the headphone amps will even be close to cell phones or abnormal interference. All my audio gear is used strictly at home.

Hey hey guess what ? I purchased the ALO Rx today,the Emmeline SR-71A last week and am buying The Protector next week! Yeeehaw !

Question ,how do you find the ALO Rx with the JH13's, I have hear people who said it was noisy!? I think there is something wrong as the JH13 are very revealing and transparent and the ALO Rx should be quiet.

I think what they meant by noisy was that it picks up cell phones interferences and makes an annoying buzzing noise. Frequency response wise the ALO Rx has a tubey sound more geared to the bass and lower midrange. I'm preferring the more neutral and open sound of the RSA Protector right now in single end mode not even balanced. Only time will tell.
