Back when this was made they did use real butter; then along came the health Nazis and demanded a change; so now fake oils are used to flavor the popcorn; the oils are far worse for you than the butter!

Actually Pop Corn is very nutricious in comparision to the other snacks you'd find at a movie theater. High in fiber, good carbs and low in calories per serving. I imagine the quantities were smaller then too.
