Under president Ronald Regan the the "Amnesty Act" was passed in 1986 granting between 3-5 million illegal immigrants immigration amnesty. Today there's a total of 12 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. which shows that if we compare numbers has almost tripple in this past decades. Amnesty doesn't solve illegal immigration, and employer/ work sites sanctions are pointless if they're not strictly enforced.

Her first request for asylum was rejected and she did not comply with the 2004 deportation order. A judge ruled that, she would be allowed to stay in the country despite the deportation!
