Toni can speak English but it's broken English, which means it's not very good. Probably only simple words and phrases.

He mentioned early in the season that he communicates with Klose in broken English. He said he can talk to guys like DeMichelis, Lucio, and Ze Roberto because Italian is somewhat similar to what they speak.
