  • I've got a question. If you went far enough down into the ocean, would the current be visible? Like in the movie Finding Nemo? If so, is there any video footage?

  • @88blockNS Good question. That's a cartoon, water doesn't "glow" like that for no reason. If it helps, you can think of ocean currents a lot like wind; they are an earthly motion of water particles pushing in a direction in the sea, just as wind is a motion of air particles pushing in a direction on land. A current's effects can be seen, just as wind's can i.e. flowing tree branches, debris in the air, but you can't see the air itself, just as you can't see the current itself.
