Organic Food vs. Conventional Food : Pesticides in Conventional vs. Organic Foods

"Conventional food" is actually an industry pushed term. Maybe it is time we stop help them pushing these terms. Hunter-gatherer wild food is "natural food". Organicly farmed food is actually "agricultural food". The so-called conventional food does not exist before world war two. They should be called "industrial food". As for processed foods, maybe they should be called food substitutes.

Why do you think natural cure cancer facilities ONLY use organic foods?

A step up from organic farming is "biodynamic" farming.

Ideally you should also buy "locally grown" produce.

Cleary she is no expert on pesticides and nows little about the real DDT issue and how political it was, just review the congressional record.

Just for you who are a business pushing organic production. Eating food grown organically from cow poop, bat _hit, worm crap, heavy metals, blood meal, feather meal, bone meal, poultry waste. Enjoy your dinner. Organic is no safer.

BTW who do we blame for million of African deaths associated with DDT bans over the years?

Terrifikday, I totally agree it is a political issue. But who is meddling politics? May I suggest you are the one pushing for agribusiness interests? Your arguments remind me those funny ideas GM lobby use, like GM food is safer, eating none GM food is eating food that is not scientifically tested. GM food could save the hungery children in African.... GM food should be call conventional, somehow make the non-GM food appear alien.... Lies and more lies.

Organic does not mean pesticide-free, it simply means that any pesticides used are non-synthetic...but, in production agriculture, these "organic" pesticides are restricted materials and their usage is heavily monitored by Fed and State Agencies.There are several factual inacuracies in this video.
