  • Beautiful song. really brings back old memories

  • @shahidc1

Yes very beautiful song! Please read other comments too!

  • Dear Sparvez, Please add word Talaash or East Pakistan or Rahman / Shabnam to the title of this song & other song from Talaash. It will make it easy for a lot of people like me to track down these classic songs from East Pakistan. Regards

  • They are already in the tag. There should not be a problem tracking using those words.

  • @jessorie

    Your suggestions are good!

  • Oh I miss those old Bangla movies. They were some true gems--simple, innocent yet very smart.

But lately it's the influence of Bollywood garbages that changed and lowered our movies so significantly.

Hope we soon start making good Bangla movies again that reflect our own rich culture and literature, not some Bollywood nonsense!

  • Urdu is such a beautiful language; i think it's a very rich & refined in entire subcontinent. Well, i am a Bengali speaking, but i think , before '71 East Pakistanis felt threatened of loosing their cultural identity when they were not given any option other than to accept Urdu as their only language. If we could have accepted our differences normally, Pakistan would have undivided even today.

At the same time, we' ve to accept the fact, other cultures in subcontinent are equally richer

  • @adchy7 it was a clear a genocide dont consider that as an option, get your facts right, people like you still live in Bangladesh and they should be ashamed for promoting urdu culture again which most of great writers know urdu came up from hindi unlike Bangla which is original forever!!! long live Bangla and Bangladesh!!!

  • @MrXalan plz watch ur mouth, Urdu is combination of Turkish,Arabic & Farsi languages. Urdu was dominant language of subcontinent during Mughal period & British period.

  • @ourpak1 i love to watch while typing !!!

  • @MrXalan & what exactly u mean by postin this comment?i didnt get u.

  • @MrXalan

Bengali people love both Urdu & Bangla Bhasha. The greatest leader(H S Surawardy ) of United Bengal (W.Bengal + Bangladesh) used to speak Urdu. Today many bengalies sing Urdu songs in UK, Canada, Japan & USA. Dr.Adeeba Akhtar is a bengali but she sings Urdu songs in the USA. If you do not believe just type (Dr. Adeeba Akhtar ) in theYoutube box.

  • OMG............

  • This is the first movie of my life. I was 4 then and till now remember this song. Look at Shabnum in 1963

  • we can compare this song with the indians films like "shri420" and some other classic films.

unfortunalty pakistan film industry went in the hands of punjabis pimps, and we could not go far away in this field.

the world most sweet language URDU, has been"raped" by indians and punjabis pimps in pakistan.

during 1947 MAHATMA GHANDI got burned millions of URDU books in his supervision.

  • mahatma gandhi didnt do any such thing..he actually showed a lot of interest towards urdu and even learnt it on his own...even when the indian government decided to adopt hindi in devnagri script as d official language of india..he opposed dis move and said that der were millions of people in north india who knew to read and write only in urdu..he advised d govt to give provision fr urdu in nashtaliq script also along wid hindi..unfortunately d govt didnt heed to his advice

  • bengali is the sweetest and richest language among the all south east asian languages

  • The movie Talash was directed by the Late MustafeezurRahman he was the younger brother of Ehtesham Talash had veteran actor Rahman & Shabnam .

  • kitni sadgi our acha andaaz hay gaayki ka,wha kia baat hay piari URDU ki

  • Rehman & Shabnam

  • I like the movie better then the song

  • thnks for posting it, great work, the world most sweet language URDU

  • My mother tongue is not Urdu and I don't know much Urdu, but I can second that Urdu is the language of Music.

  • @sparvez00

    You are right!
