You'll have to compile it from source. This is true for Linux as well. It is standard C so if you have a compiler, I think it should be straightforward. The code is broken into graphics and science, and the graphics may need a little more work in terms of OpenGL dependencies, but I think this should be pretty easy as well. I have ported some of my FEA software to Windows without too much trouble.

Yes it is. Unfortunately, Youtube won't let me post the link here. Also, Animation isn't ready yet. Maybe in a few weeks.
