Do you think the US Govt. or Congress is not Corrupted?? Don't be so naive. Do every wonder the US and China goes sour and China started to throw away he US dollar. The US economy and stock market and job market will be halted. The US market will lose 60%- 75% Many people will lose their jobs and huge of inflation will happen. Throwing away USD will actually hurt China more than USA. In several ways: 1) China has huge reserve in USD. If USD gets weaker, China hurts itself; 2) China economy is still export driven. If USA stops buying, China economy will suffer - unemployment will rise - there will be political instability.

USA stock market may crash, but there will be a revolution in China.

The fallacy in this argument is that the strong export driven economy actually created a strong domestic economy as a lot of workers have good paying jobs. So China won't collapse, they will still have a much more developed internal economy with higher tech. The US on the other hand having destroyed its industries will have trouble recovering, THEY will need to be export driven and attract those same manufacturing jobs.

It's true that once China can ramp up its domestic demand, it will not become a net export country but will start to be a net import country.

As for USA destroying its industries. USA is a mature economy so it is moving away from low-tech manufacturing to high-tech manufacturing/service/financia­l capital economy.  It's a natural progression for all modern economies. One day China will too follow the same path.

What are you talking about, The high paying manufacturing jobs are replaced by low paying service jobs. Plus you don't have high tech manufacturing jobs anymore, they're gone too! Apple for example designs the Iphone in the US, but the parts are all made in Asia. And financial jobs were just due to a bubble. A country of USA's size must produce something. They still have a semblance of an auto industry, they need to stop killing industries that will never come back.

If there is a huge inflation, it will hurt those who have lended USA money at lower rate - like China! For example, if inflation jumps to 100%/year, people's salary will simply be adjusted (look at hyperinflation period of Brazil), but suddenly, China's REAL VALUE in its USD holding is HALVED!!!!

The problem with USD debt is that USA Treasury is NOT backed by hard assets protected from inflation! If they are, China can say, I don't want your worthless money, I want your land.

The American public have virtually no say in who the USA trades with. All the important economic decisions are made by Wall Street and medium/large business owners. However, American consumers do have a choice in what products they purchase. If we dont trust China made products, just don't buy it, simple as that.

The message that Americans seem to be sending to the Chinese and to people around the world is that they have a problem with people working hard to improve their lives, that is exactly what the Chinese populace are doing, with Chinese gov't guidance. Despite all the complaints about China, it is still the world's most populous nation, with an economic and technological boom. That alone says a lot about Chinese leadership.
