everyone who knows the reality of Assad's crimes is syria, knew that, not 150 not even 1000 monitors are going to stop Assad from killing his people. the only way to really end this 9 months massacre is to end the regime altogether. that's not going to happen any time soon unless nato &AL deploys troops and end assad's bloodthirsty regime.

Arab League observers saw Saudi and Qatari-financed and armed foreign mercenary snipers who are entering thru Turkey and Lebanon, which, like Saudi Arabia and Qatar, are complicit in hijacking these organic "Arab Spring" movements. Just like Iran's Green movement and Libya's Bengazi rebels, the Syrian Free Army and the Syrian people's movement have been hijacked by nefarious foreign influences with an agenda which has nothing to do with human rights or the aspirations of the Syrian people.

@mispistoleros your argument is much like most of the arguments I have with Assad's employees. they always try to move away for the main problem ( the genocide carried out by Assad's thugs) to focus on other problem. these snipers were brought in from Iran & hezbollah, long for Freedom army was established, to help Assad subdue protesters.

I hope other countries support Freedom Army. although they're incredibly brave soldiers, but I don't think there'r enough to end Assad's criminal regime.

I think the question of Assad is best addressed by the people of Syria and that western infiltration is the real cause of Syrian unrest. Over 25% of the casualties have been security forces and police.

I'm aware of the Syrian criticism of Assad, that he should be using govt diplomacy and/or forces to take back the Golan Heights (and its water), imho, a very legitimate criticism.

@desipimp299 unfortunately, this is not the end of it. in the next few days they'll hold another meeting. giving Assad another month to comply. at the end Assad will agree. 2 weeks later monitors will start showing up. then they will find out that Assad has not fully complied. then AL withdraw its monitors and schedule another meeting in a month. meanwhile innocent syrians are being murdered in cold blood everday for the amusement of Assad's bloodthirsty regime.
