Omark is a rookie and that was his first NHL game ever. St. Louis is a veteran. That's the basis for the comments made by the Lightning. In reality it doesn't matter. Respect is big in the League. It's the reason why St. Louis rarely ever gets checked, and the few times he has gotten hit dirty, the WHOLE Lightning team tries to dismember the offender.
