The fact that poll after poll after poll, and just the general mood of the country, shows that the "will of the people" do not want a republican. The republicans have had over 25 years of power and people are tired of the corruption and the immoral way they have ruled. People want change, and Ron Paul is too pro-corporate. The fact that poll after poll after poll, and just the general mood of the country, shows that the "will of the people" do not want a republican. The republicans have had over 25 years of power and people are tired of the corruption and the immoral way they have ruled. People want change, and Ron Paul is too pro-corporate. I could not moral or ethically vote for them right now. That's just my opinion.

While I don't feel there is anything inherently wrong with gay adoption, I think that abolition of the Fed, IRS and stopping the insane violence in which the US constantly participates more than makes up for the loss. What good will any liberal social policy be under the USA PATRIOT ACT? Will any parent be able to support any child when the US is a bankrupt has-been?

I would say that R. Paul is more of a backdoor fascist. Only SMALL amounts of drugs are legal, like they are in the U.S. (less than a half ounce of cannabis will only get you a citation in California), but not normal quantities. They still have all kinds of taxes and regulations. It's a stretch to think that Mexico is libertarian. You just don't like libertarianism and you'll try to misrepresent it in order to slander it. There is still legitimate scientific disaagreement about AGW. So opposing Kyoto is smart until AGW is proven. Besides, it may be better to live with AGW than risk the mass starvation that could result from limiting measures.

Republicans that are already registered as such wouldn't dream of voting for him, so he needs liberals to switch party affiliations. Not an easy task. I have been a registered Libertarian as long as I have been voting. I challenge Democrats, Greens, Independants, and Libertarians who love liberty, peace, and the constitution to register and vote Republican -- so that Dr. Ron Paul may be our next president.

2) Thomas Jefferson was Libertarian is his views, if you are basing being Libertarian off of the Libertarian Party, except for borders.
