  • I LOVE URE ROBIN HOOD HAT

  • Is the threadbanger channel dead now?

  • @Missrlbarlow now someone new will come :)

  • Awesome!!..U have fans from India!!Yay!!Will surely try this one!!

  • definatly a good idea! i think id leave the bottom on though just because i hate when shirts come up when i lift my arms

  • hows behind the camera

  • compai=combine right?

  • where can i find the book

  • Very confusing.

  • @2:17 that girl looks like a girl from the show MADE

  • @TheMangoqueen I know! I thought that too! :D

  • Great recon, but those girls were a bit annoying,

  • Is there a Saudek´s book of photography behind that curly girl at the begining of the video? whoooou!

  • the end product was not quit neat but still inspiring

  • forever lost in an ocean of despair... hahahahahahaahahhahahahahaha

but it was an AWESOME!!!!!!! idea! im soo gonna do that! :) thanx threadheads!

  • i really love the hat faith is wearing! could you guys do a tutorial on how to make one just like it? thanks so much!

  • wow i am going to look for a sweater like so cheap or in my closet and do me one of those!!!

  • omg 5 mins of bull until the something comes along

  • I loved the buttons on top! Hated the pockets and I would make it form fitting. Not so cute, but very ispiring lol

  • @nephella but remember it's not for the person who has it on. It's probably sort of fitted on the owner earlier in the video

  • i would make it like a t shirt dress

  • i think it has to be longer or shorter,

when it's short u can wear a blue and white striped shirt under it.

  • I actually really liked this.

For my personal use though, I would have gone longer just because that's how I prefer shirts and sweatshirts alike. But, other than that I really liked it.

  • why does the one compai girl have a feather sticking out of her head? kinda strange looking?

  • yea id make different pockets but other than the pockets its cute

  • it's not that bad...if worn properly. i wouldn't wear it but some could pull it off.

  • It's kinda obvious to wear it with no baggy bottoms, and I dont like the way the pockets look, but Overall I like the shirt : ) It's very bohemian or even steam punkish, lol ^ ^*

  • ummm just no

  • those pockets are ugly as hell

  • i would wear it withut da pocket

  • I'm pretty sure that girl with the mickey mouse hat goes to my school.. like 90% sure i've seen her there HMM!

  • haha wth i was thinking the same EXACT THING

and she wears whole buncha anime costumes. ?

    la sierra high school ??

  • That is ugly.

    sorry.

  • should have done a kangaroo pocket

  • those wierd pockets must be for her femidoms

  • it's too short and could do a little pinch and pin but it's not that bad

  • I didn't really like the pockets and I think I would have liked it more if it were longer too. I liked the length of the sweatshirt before the alterations.

  • I guess with the right pants - too short of a shirt is the right thing.

But otherwise - no, too short.

  • ...and really ugly pockets but still if it would be longer, would fit better and wouldn't have those horrible pockets it would look cute...otherwise i wouldn't use it to wipe my ass

    love threadbanger, hate compai:D

  • was she on mtv made?

  • who throws out clothing?its so pointless.donate to good will or donate it to value village people!!!

    that hat is kinda hanus.

but that sweater is gorge. :D

  • exactly

  • ehhh ugly

  • I bought and love all of thier books!

  • wayy to complicated and its pretty ugly too :O

  • nice shirt, weird pockets

  • ugly pockets...nice top tho!!!

  • that's kind of really ugly. ):

  • its awesome, but the pockets are...rather odd.

  • thats cute

i wanna try but ill do it without the pockets :)

    thanks!

  • i have that book how awesome

  • Okay...who can remember all those directions???

  • take down notes :o)

  • why i cant open all the videos from threadbanger?i wanna see the old videos also.Anybody has the same problem here?

  • i think i might of seen a hobo wearing that

  • Looks like scrubs.

  • ya, the pockets looks weird

  • it would look better w/out da pockets...

    i think ill try it

  • So cute, do they have any ideas for hand sewing-easy stuff?

  • those pockets were not shaped very nicely.

  • Great Episode.. nice work!

do anyone know the song played from 3:34 until almost the end??

would be glad if anyone could help me out ;-)

    i love this song!

  • omg! sorry i meant to give you a thumbs up!

  • doesn't matter ;-) just want to know the songs name..

  • I think that it looks great! I know lots of people who would wear that especially as the hobo look is in. Gives me wonderful ideas for my wardrobe!

  • i think some of the 'rugged' edges made it look alil more..hobo-ish. it looked rele cute on the mannequin tho =/

  • That was ugly....she looks homeless

  • really cute on the mannequin...

...not so much on an actual person :\

  • yuck.

  • macbooks pwn.

  • I really can;t see anyone wearing that willing

  • OMG WITH THE ACCENTS

    I'm in love #^_^#

Wish I had a sewing machine....

Are there any how to's for hand sewing projects?

    =D

  • I think it was the pockets that did it...:(

  • lol poor clothes oma this is awsumx !

  • How do you make regular jeans into skinny jeans? I only have a few pairs of skinny jeans..They are too expensive for me to buy..buttt I have ALOT of old jeans.

  • Yeah that's a good idea

    I wanna know how too

  • They already did a video on that

  • Oh really thanx

  • Pinch and pin?

  • I read that book! I ended up giving new life to a lot of my little brother's T-shirts ;D

  • sweeeet i wanna try!!!

  • I think I'll do that, but with a few adjustments so that it looks a little more cleaner. Thanks for the great idea.

  • Hey! I have two sweat shirts and I'm definitely doing this with the purple one but does anyone have any other cute ideas for the black one?

  • I was wondering if you guys know a way to turn regular clothes into more goth style clothes. It would be really helpful since buying goth clothes is expensive and they are sometimes hard to come by in thrift stores where I live.

  • All I can suggest is black dye and spikes. You can usually buy them bulk at a leather repair shop.

  • I tried the dye thing but it didn't work out because I just made the colours darker :/

  • You could try making duct tape fabric by placing tape on a piece of paper on both sides and then cutting out your pattern and sewing it together to get the industrial goth look, or for getting tyhings to dye black better use less water and more black dye powder in a bucket and soak the garment overnight in the mix , make sure to stir it around though.

You could also sew black lace trim on things.

  • Yeah, that lace sounds cool cos I'm trying to go for the romantic goth look (or classic). With long black dresses/skirts, corsets and lace :)

  • like Gothic Lolita? :)

  • Oh really me too

  • LMAO 3:05-3:33

    hahaa

  • I think the outfit was really adorable, but I agree that could have been more snug and form fitting, but for someone else it would have been just plain perfect.

Do you think I could work that DIY magic on a regular hoodie - front zipper, and everything?

  • moving is hard enough without having to post a vid thanks for taking the time to post this I know you guys are super busy!!!!you guys are great THANKS!!!

  • yay MARCH 4 Is My b-Day! lol

  • hahaha me too!

  • ME TOOOOO jk

  • ...........=P

  • that looks awful...

  • I think I whould have taken the shirt in a little bit, just to make it form fitting... I like it snug!

  • Why do they call themselves compai?

  • KILLER episode! Brooklyn provides a rad backdrop wherever you kids are.

    That shirt is adorable. xo

  • It's a SWEATSHIRT.

    Hoodies have hoods.

    Sweaters are knited.

If it's too short, buy a bigger size.

    Stop bitching, it's DIY. Think.

  • Great video guys. Hope you're settling into Brooklyn nicely.

  • their ayo thingy is annoying it came out sorta sloppy and was too small length wise for that girl

  • Cool idea, but the buttonholes were SLOPPY

  • how the fuck do they cut so straight?

  • stupid girl it's a sweater, not a jacket

  • actually, it's a sweatshirt, cause sweaters are knit and that was fabric. so....you're both wrong.

  • actaually its a hoodie aka sweat shirt

  • Hehe that was cool. I would try that with camo and add military style badges, and another idea would be to find some cute icon buttons eg skulls, and then stencil it as well with a skull

  • holy crap, they're annoying as hell, and that sweatshirt was one of the ugliest things i've ever seen

  • totally agree with you. i was expecting something different or nice but it looked like crap.

  • Also agreed. I really didn't like the look of it and they looked like jerks. :\ I'm decieved.

  • omg ... i totally agree.

the sweater they transformed looks hideous.

  • i think that they probably should have taken it in on either side to make it fit the body a little tighter...i think one of the reasons it looked odd was because they left the sweatshirt really wide! the things they actually taught us how to do were cool though!

  • Does donating clothes to Goodwill count as "throwing them away"?

  • No.

  • Ooo... that somehow wrecks my mind. 0_0

  • Cool design. I should try that ^_^ Shame though, the pockets don't look neat, but at least it's a bit practical. Keeps hands warm ^___^ But anyway, great stuff!

  • I'm old and I love these gals. Wish you had been around when I was young. We just threw away our old clothes or used them for cleaning rags.

I'm cutting up my old sweat-shirts TODAY. THNAKS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • AH PANDA HAAAAT!!!LOL

  • gaia?

  • the girl at 2:01 Panda Hat

  • I'd tailor it a little bit more to the person, as that was quite blocky, but some like that style. Awesome.

    ~Kat

  • super ugly

  • I agree, this is the only thing on threadbanger that I have disliked

  • If I saw a person walking down the street with a sweat shirt with no sleeves, buttons down the shoulders and cut out pockets on the sides coming towards me... First of all, I would check to see if I had spare change, then I'd look to see if the road was clear to cross so I wouldn't have to walk past him/her. that was ghetto. I know ghetto, because I live ghetto.

    Sinn

  • 68 not me i keep every thing till it breaks i dont wear them if there to old and worn but then i cut them and make barbie for my consi shes 10

  • wow awesome idea... i may just have to try that one out myself

  • stacy and cinton wwould just die if they saw that

  • SaaaWEeeeet!

    5*

    :O)

  • the last time i threw away my clothes was 7 years ago

  • i dont threw them away

  • whoa! 68 pounds?! definitely need to recycle clothes more! :)

  • not me

  • That is SUPER cute! I might have to take one of my old hoodies and turn it into something new. Thanks for the inspiration guys!

  • got a question for ya, my gfs b day is coming up soon, do ya think women like it if we make our own cloths for them?is it cheap?

  • my friend loved that i was making her a skirt,

i had a run in with the sewing machine one day that didnt end well, so im taking a break

  • lmao

    thanks!

  • Wow, Another Statistic I do not belong!

I have pant's that are four years old from back when I was 300LBS And shirts that are older!

I think the only clothing I toss is underwear and socks!

  • Interesting video!! man, those women are so enthusiastic!

  • i LOVE those ladies and i LOVE their books! lovely episode!

  • That was sooooo kick ass :D

  • i got the 99 ways t-shirt book for christmas and was bumbed that they didn't have any male designs. Are there ANY books out there for guys' clothing?!

  • I don't know any male sewing books but I do know a few good male KNITTING books.

  • that's really cute! thanks guys. keep rockin' xoxo

  • Thats actually really cute.

They just should have made it

    more tighter and fitted.

  • That's alot of work, but great as always, you cease to suprise me, how boring! I knew it was gonna be great! ;)

  • oh man this show is so awesome!

  • That woman has a good eye for precision; cutting without a guide.

    Love this episode.
