Great, I liked it.. Just one thing: if you're Krishna conscious, you're also a Hindu, in my opinion. Idk if you believe in some of the other Hindu teachings, but many Hindus believe in Krishna, and would say that they are Hindu, especially bc of that. I think we should all be willing to acknowledge the spiritual tradition from where Hare Krishna was first taught. Just a thought...
@sunmanpatoo Ok, I'm not trying to get u to change ur mind. I was just pointing out that the Gita is irrevocably a part the Hindu body of literature, and surrendering to Krishna is a path that many Hindus take. Well, I'm very glad to see others who share my feelings about Shri Hare Krishna. Thanks for responding to my comment. God bless...
@asswaxer100 thanks for the love but i want to make it explicitly clear that the Hare Krishna movement is a scientific movement. The movement deals with the science of how to love god. it is not fair to put Krishna in a box and say "He belongs to the Hindus". Krishna belongs to no one or no thing...all things and persons belong to Krishna. I am a student of Vedic literature and arcane knowledge which causes one to become adept. peace.
@asswaxer100 the word Hindu is a misnomer created by Arabs who could not pronounce the word Sindhu as in Sindhu river. No where in the Bhagavad Gita do we find the word Hindu, it's a man-made term just like the word "christian". I hope this comes across loud and clear. HariBol.
@sunmanpatoo Well, you're right , the term "Hindu" is not in the Gita (although it is in the Vedas). For me, it 's not the name of the group that matters, it's the group itself. In my opinion, Hindus who love Krishna are not any different than Hare Krishna followers. I understand that you're not a "Hindu." But it's not a group to be disdained. Only the contrary is true.
@asswaxer100 i would never disdain anyone's religion, to disrespect someone who is engaged in sincere worship of the almighty is a true sign of walking in the dark. peace and blessings be upon you.
