It depresses me that girls have been so brainwashed they fit themselves into this ridiculous stereotype and buy into the male rhetoric. Locking yourself into this stigma of the "emotional girl" might make you endearing and you might think it's cute or that that's just the way you are, but you don't have to be and allowing people to think this way of you robs you of the respect you deserve. It’s because of this very American stereotype that we do not have more women in positions of power.

@4BlueRose4 What about nancy polosi and Hilary Clinton, both of which have very important positions within in our government. Also, it a common held belief that within the next 20 to 30 years we will most likely have a female president in position. Add on to that the increasing amount of women that are entering the workplace a large salery jobs is still steadly increasing. I honestly dont believe that that the stereotype that you are believe america holds of its women is really holding up well.

When Hilary Clinton was running one of the criticisms against her was that she might experience menopause and it might make her moody and affect her judgement. Compered to other places, we treat our women great. I'm not really basing this on a stereotype, I based it on facts I read an economics book about recent studies on male/female income.

Guys don't mood rings- they're pretty easy to interpret. Video games- you can tell if he's thinking them if you call and he doesn't answer because he's on Xbox Live. But most of the time- nothing goes on upstairs.
