I would NEVER force genital mutilation upon my child!
Circumcision damaged my penis. It was totally unnecessary. I was born healthy...there was no need to cut off a normal healthy part of my penis. They 'doctor' who did that to me should be sent to prison for life!!

If you are not a circumcised man, it is likely that after urinating some drops would remain stuck in the flesh which would make you unclean. @quantumsolutions clipping the nails is a sunnah and is therefore binding on us.if cutting of ears was a religous obligation it should have been mentioned in the quran or the sunnah,it is not..Circumcision is certainly more hygenic.

Are you saying Allah did not make us perfect? Are you saying Allah would purposely make us in a fashion that we would constantly be unclean and have to chop off a body part to avert that? 2:In regards to the Makkans in 7th century Arabia it should be appreciated that they did indeed circumcise the boys in the family. Hence, the Prophet was indeed circumcised before his prophetic appointment at the age of 40.

they only want to circumcise women because thier blatant disrespect toward women. They dont want them to enjoy sex, therefore lessening the possibilty that the woman would cheat on them.Isnt that what its all about... more control over the woman.....I am fearfully and wonderfully made =]

I've read the Qur'an.
Nowhere within it is genital cutting (for either gender) mentioned.
It does say the body is created perfect and requires no alteration. For example read 3:191, 4:119, 15:28-29, 27:88, 32:7, 67:3, and
82:7-8 The One who created you, designed you, and perfected you. In whatever design He chose, He constructed it.
95:4 We created man in the best design.
NO national medical association on earth (not even Israel's) endorses routine circumcision.

It is not in the Quran.
