@Saxhero100 Tenor has the best sound. Download mp3s of a 1969 album on Amazon called Blowin' Gold by John Klemmer if you wanna hear the most insane tenor playing that's both rock & jazz. He does a great version of Hendrix's "Third Stone from the Sun" & coolest version of "Hey Jude" ever. I also like bass clarinet the way Eric Dolphy plays it. Captain Beefheart also plays it sometimes. Early Chicago before they sold out has great songs, a boss horn section & killer guitar by Terry Kath.

In fact, I am the biggest guy in my school band (not thick, just really tall) and I play the alto, whereas people 3/4 of my height play the Tenor, and then someone 3/4 of their height plays the Bari. Though I did dissagree, I do think it's rather awkward having an instrument too big or too small in proiportion to the player...
