Im real disappointed the jean wakes up in the hospital with no memory and then the story just ends. I know there's gotta be more to it than what Ive been able to see, right?
Does anyone know where the original AMV to this video on youtube is anymore? This video sequence was originally dubbed to Within Temptation's Stand My Ground and was timed so perfectly the chorus would peak up just as clips of Phoenix emerging would appear. Want that video back!!!

When I first heard about the stepford cuckoos I was laughing because they make a set of blond young quintuplets sound like stepford cuckolds. Not a kid friendly concept lol. However I was surprised & impressed with how Emma Frost's character was written in this WatXM. Hated that they got rid of the Phoenix force so easily, if she was destined to weild it they could have make her grow from her experience with it. Instead they made it an affliction to be eradicated.
I still prefer 90s version Phoenix. An alien entity with sole purpose to guard a crystal. It had no emotions but tried help Jean, it sensed her strugle & danger. Doing so it got addicted to human emotions having never had emotions itself. This was compounded with jean's telepathic abilities and then a symbioses of Jean & Phoenix amplified & fueled Jean's telekinetic abilities. Like blacksuit Spider-Man. When Phoenix got too much control & too much stress they became Dark Phoenix.

@1984neptune Allright, I'm getting a better picture of it all. Jean/Phoenix is the ultimate pain-in-the-rump enemy. Totally destructive and powerful as well. What was Marvel thinking of? Going off and creating a character that has no weak spot or real story development characteristics (she's at the apex of power and doesn't die). Can they contain her somewhere like Apocalypse?

In the show it was an entity that possessed powerful telepathic mutants at birth, I don't think they went into join being anything more than its hosts though and like the comics they can be separated as they are their own entities too but ultimately come together.
Man i watch x men evolution and almost done with the 1st season of wolverine and the x men wish they started it slow felt like they rushed it and barely had jean time but they need to make a 2nd season soon for wolverine and the x men.
OMG people i love the x-men,the fantastic four and more but at the same time jean Grey is not the most powerful mutant in x-men evolution or even in the marvel world OK that said jean Grey only has Telepathy and Telekinesis making her vary powerful and with the phoenix force jean is godly that stands for life+death but with out the phoenix force jean is just vary powerful in limited

If they took Emma's eggs and did not cross them with anyone else's DNA, then, yes, they are clones. Depending on how they were done, as in the case of Laura Kinney, X23, they can be 'daughter', 'sister', etc... clones. But they are clones, nonetheless. Madelyne is a 'sister' clone of Jean Grey.
@fuuinekusu sorry but no doesnt count as clones, clones are produced from a single cell from the originals body and then using genetechnology they force the cell to spilt and devide until it creates an exact copy of its donar, a single eggs fetralisation is still possible with both eggs coming from the same woman as both eggs contain 12 pairs of chromosomes required to created a baby. it is also why x-23 can not be classed as a clone cos if she was she would have 3 claws in her hands.

They only used the X chromosome to form X-23, so, yeah, it does make sense, since the Y chromosome is thought to play a big part in inheritance of a mutant ability.
That's what I'm saying, though, they weren't cross-fertilized with her own DNA. They used the exact same technology you mentioned to force the cell to split. Just like X-23's biological mother contributed no DNA, just an egg cell with the nucleus removed, most likely.

But in the show Jean is born with the Phoenix. That is a lot different then the comics. I do agree that the movie got it wrong. I will forever dislike Bret Ratner!
I wouldnt go that far I mean don't get me wrong they tried to make a good cartoon of the X-Men however most of the stuff going on is so out of place and the animation is horrible.
This show is amazing i love the x men and wolverine is my favorite superhero of all time they did sutch a good job on this show. Steave blum is the only outher guy be sides Hugh jackman. to make wolverine come alive its the perfect show for old fans and new ones to fall in love with the mutents once again
yeah it was thats 1 of the things i loved about this show they brought loads of character into it that have never been used before. i cant wait to see who they bring into the second series!

This show is amazing i love the x men and wolverine is my favorite superhero of all time they did sutch a good job on this show. Steave blum is the only outher guy be sides Hugh jackman. to make wolverine come alive its the perfect show for old fans and new ones to fall in love with the mutents once again

yeah it was thats 1 of the things i loved about this show they brought loads of character into it that have never been used before. i cant wait to see who they bring into the second series!

Same here. She was one of the characters that interested me. And her story line was so amazing. Although it's sad how she dies muliple times....and I mean MULTIPLE times. :P
