Wealthy men would make no attempt to hide that they were sleeping with male and female partners. The Spartan soldiers practiced homosexuality to develop camaraderie. It was only when Christianity took over as the religious majority that homosexuality became frowned upon, leading to the tortures and murders you mentioned.

Answer they don't believe in god or the bible. You think it's crazy ? I've talked to many of them.
They are willing to refuse any religion and call the bible a "fairy tale" to sort of try to look for acceptance of their homosexual condition.
It's like if a person who enjoys having relationship with animals looking around for things that approve their sexual deviation.

I'm not a believer myself, but I don't oppose religion. Humans need religion to stabilize their lives. If I can't believe in it, that's my problem, you as a religious individual are fine.
Gays are just another arrogant group of people trying to impose a new idea to our society. I don't have a problem with gays who keep it to themselves, but it really bothers me when gays keep "expressing themselves" in their own gay way. Why am I expected to tolerate that shit?

Finally someone understood. This doesn't happen very often, people seem to struggle to understand such basic concepts.
Everyone I talk to about this starts ranting about how every individual has the right to be him/her self, yet in their own lives they are hardcore conformists who would do anything for the slightest bit of acceptance, just to "fit in".
If gays don't expose their sexual ideas to everyone, maybe, just maybe, people would stop treating them like shit.

Wealthy men would make no attempt to hide that they were sleeping with male and female partners. The Spartan soldiers practiced homosexuality to develop camaraderie. It was only when Christianity took over as the religious majority that homosexuality became frowned upon, leading to the tortures and murders you mentioned.
That being said, yeah gay pride stuff annoys me too :P

Not every culture has had such a vitriolic attitude towards homosexuals, nor do they today. In fact, it seems that "breeder"-type religions like the Abrahamic ones tend to lead in the effort to bring about violence against homosexuals.
And the argument of "nature" doesn't hold for shit when we consider that there are countless animal species that practice homosexuality and that humanity doesn't give a shit about following nature's strictures anyway.
