the player didnt even beat the boss T_T.and i have questions. what is the final boss exactly?! some sort of crazed demon? and where is he being fought? its just a staticky background
Well, actually, the bosses' name is "Hibachi" which is Japanese for "Fire Bee". "Hachi" just means "Bee".
And the way I see it, Hibachi's larger bodies(for example, Golden Disaster from Dodonpachi Dai-Fukkatsu) serve as exo-suits for its core body(the smaller bee mecha, like the one seen in this level)
On the bright side, there's Ketsui DS, which, while not a full game, should be awesome anyway. Also, PGM emulation isn't THAT far off. It exists, just not for most of the games on PGM hardware.
I haven't been keeping up, but as far as I can see, it's progressing well, development wise, but still has the issue of "will this sell?" hanging over it...

The final boss is Hachi, the trademark mechanical bee boss of DonPachi.
When Hachi is destroyed, it seems to turn into something else.

the only thing to do with that game in this is the music
other than that
Hibachi's sprite and his patterns are borrowed from DoDonPachi

Dai Ou Jou had the same Hibachi sprite, I think.
Also, the ship and hyper system are the same. Actually, aside from the pattern, it's all DoJ. The pattern is entirely DDP, though.

I don't remember his sprite looking the same,
but then again, i'm probably not going to ever get to play DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou until it's emulated
