Woa.... thats insane... I'm currently having some FPS issues.... I used to be able to play the game fine at about 30/40 fps... No problem. But ever since the latest patch its been running smooth... and suddenly just drops me fps to about 20/15

lol i play the game with a geforce 9800gtx+, intel core 2 duo @ 2.8Ghz and 2gig of RAM at high settings xD and no lags!

That looks like a RAM issue. Maybe you can try using only one stick at a time to find the error?

WEll you have some major artifacts-graphic probs there.

Try turning your "HBAO" in your game menu settings to "OFF"

That will let up much more FSP... turning your "Level of detail" to "low" will work too.

If that doesn't work, in your DOCS folder, in the BFBC2Beta folder, open up settings and change the "DxVersion" from "auto" to "9" + turn off "bloom". With Dx set to 9, you can put all your ingame settings to high, but keep "HBAO" to off. Major laggabond! Hope it helps!:D

@watawatan0w yeah ive pretty much tried every setting in the options. Tried the Direct x setting... its pretty much just jacked up.

@nanthil What CPU do you have, and how much RAM?

If you have a dual core CPU and +-4GB ram, then do what SLAPattack said, and test each RAM stick individually.

@MrScarghost141 Are you able to start the game up at least? That is weird. Make a backup of your "settings" file and then ONLY replace from GRAPHICS down, with what i have in mine and see if it works. [Graphics] Effects=high Soldiers=high Vehicles=high Overgrowth=high Undergrowth=high StaticObjects=high Terrain=high Shadows=low Bloom=false HSAO=false MSAA=0 Water=high MainQuality=custom Texture=high DxVersion=9 Aniso=1 Detail=high RenderAheadLimit=2 Fov=60

@watawatan0w i fixed it; i didnt have dx9 so it couldnt run it i guess but i placed it on dx10 and it goes better a little bit

@MrScarghost141 Well i was on Win7 with Dx 11 version, and i ran with dx9, but 10 is at least faster than 11.

please note that the frame per second in both sections of the video is at 20 or less. it may not look like it but it sucks when playing.
