  • Somehow this doesn't fit with the context of the score from "On Her Majesty's Secret Service".

  • Thanks for this.

Very dramatic and funereal..... and very Bond. Why was this ommitted from

OHMSS? That instrument sounds like the one that was used on the 'Randall and Hopkirk' theme - can anybody please tell me what this instrument is?

  • Thanks for your kind comments on the vocal version of this song, I have RWYA JB on cd and its always been a firm favourite ever since the days of good old vinyl. It always strikes me funny when I read the cd track listing, naming Born Free as taken from the motion picture OHMSS.

Well done for marrying the song with autumn leaves........like the song....stunningly beautiful,

  • Written for, but not featured in 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service'. The 'change' of the title being new James Bond, George Lazenby.

Recorded by vocalist Nina van Pallandt at the same sessions she recorded, 'Do You Know How Christmas Trees Are Grown?' which was featured in the film and on the soundtrack album.

  • Verse 1 - Touch my hand and we will be, part of one another, you and me. Changing winds and shifting sands, we will still be touching hands.

Chorus - The more things change, the more our love will continue to grow. We will never change in this world, of easy come and go.

Verse 2 - Like the ocean and the shore, we'll be bound together ever more.

Far off places, distant lands, we will still be touching hands.

    Repeat Chorus

Touch my hand and we will be, part of one another, you and me.
