Nice ! But there is 8 parts of ashtanga yoga according to MAHRISHI PATANJLI , who gave that concept. Ashtanga means 8 parts! This vidio shows only one part 'asana'.

god this guy must be well fit doing all this, im trynna learn this on my own, from videos and books, and its actually going well, just from doing the sun salutation, a already feel better i wonder how long it will take me to learn all of this, well learning what to do is the easy part imo, actually being able to do it is another story i suppose if i keep at it, ill get better everyday
Immunics is the essential skill/approach that enables people in the CureDrive to cure incurable diseases – and yes – immunics is a form of yoga – and does have a profound effect on the physical body –
And yes – this yoga video is never boring – I watch it over and over again –
I've done yoga every day for 30 years now -- I cured HERPES -- lip AND genital – with a non-physical form of YOGA called immunics -- I've doing IMMUNICS since 1993 -- I haven't had flu since I cured the herpes – I've seen people cure CANCER with this –
I do yoga and immunics in short bursts – THROUGHOUT THE DAY – keep myself feeling great ALL DAY – FRIEND me on Facebook – Bayard Henry Barnes -- 813-672-3419
i feel a lot better just from doing some of this for 2 weeks, i sleep a lot better, more energy, no aches or pains anywhere i feel more flexible already, but i still have a long way to go with that, but one of the greatest things in my opinion, is it relaxes me and calms me, its so great for getting rid of stress, i think yoga should be intergrated into schools so everyone learns it, the world would be a better place if everyone did this
The whole production of this video was very sincere, whilst the posts sequence with the floatings tailor-mixing with the backdrop music and Indian architecture make the whole phase into mysteriousness.
It's no good try to takeover the world on your first day. Every body have different body structure, so start with easy and comfortable pose with your body. Avoid injury and leave yoga if there is nothing change on your feeling. Good luck!
@Brady2k10 i would believe so but it would take a high degree of discipline. it can be frustrating to not achive the flexibility you want really quickly. but you should try and let us know how ya do! :)
@Normansmight as u can see i keep checkin the vid out, i keep coming back to this, im learning, even if its at a slow pace, and i wouldnt want to rush, im doing everything very slowly so i dont injure myself, it is annoying that i have to do everything slow and it will take some time for me to get this good, will take years im guessing to learn everything properly and to do it properly, but its something im willing to work for and about 2 weeks into it, i love it, everyone should try it.
The con of having bad knees holds true for people who have knee injuries prior to doing yoga, or who have learned yoga improperly. Any kind of exercise will hurt if you do it wrong. If you learn Ashtanga yoga properly, it can save your body, and give you strength and stamina of someone 30 years younger as you age. There are many styles out there, and simply doing yoga for flexibility is incomplete and dangerous -- needs to be balanced by gains in strength.
@nameless212 Yoga has proven to treat many ailments. It increases flexibility, muscle strength ( so that bones and cartillage can be supported properly ), gait, posture, back and works little tiny muscles all over your body that you never thought you could work out. It also hones in on inner strength, exposing you to inner consciousness (which is pretty awesome, if you ask me...since when do people in this crazy, hectic, modern lifestyle ever get to tap into their inner consciousness?).
i've only been doing yoga for about 5 wks, i definately feel healthier and it has improved my life in general. my right wrist does not bend all the way due to a car crash i was in when i was five so i have to make some modifications or shorten certain poses to maybe two breaths at a time. i'm working on becoming as great at it as the people in the video, handicap or not!! yoga should be mandatory in school...teaches you so many things and is just so good for you!!
@SpritleDawnAmbrose If you go yoga every day, or every other day, I guarantee your wrist will begin to feel better and you will have more mobility in it. Peace, love and mindfulness my friend.
I have been doing Yoga for two years and I am not even close to do doing any of these poses. I am confident that through hard work and dedication I will one day be able to these poses with ease.
Does one actually have to be under the sun for this to work with maximum benefits? Every yoga site I find doesn't say either or except for the one that linked me to this.. yet it alone only says best when facing the sun.
I absolutely love this video. So inspiring how steven makes it all looks so easy. You can tell he is so connected to his breath as he moves. Just awe inspiring!!!
yoga lovers, also try peering into the most soothing, spectacularly beautiful kaleidoscope online. simply search for "Kaleidoscope" and look for Star FK Radium.
@TheRose3560 short answer... Yes, if you practice. Most people doing ashtanga practice 6 days a week - each practice lasting about 1 hour 40 mins on average. Obviously when you start you do shorter practices and work your way through each of the 'series' as you progress. Normally takes about 3 years to complete each series. A good tip is eat less in the evening and have the main meals of the day breakfast and lunch and do yoga before breakfast each day.
@TheRose3560 It's absolutely possible! The benefits are infinite from greatly increased circulation, incredible pain relief, the best weapon against arthritis, besides the obvious like endurance, strength, flexibility and a tremendous amount of focus. Oh and the endorphin rush.... gotta love that part.
@TheRose3560 I was the most stiff, unflexible person in the world when I started and NO ONE ever told me this, maybe it was just common sense to everyone else...but if you are super stiff, then your time will be FAR better spent doing massage rather than yoga. At least for the first few months.
If you like yoga and are interested in starting your own studio read How to Start and Maintain A Profitable Yoga Business by: L. Burke Files. This book makes it easy to avoid common mistakes and do everything possible to insure success. It crosses the bridge between the spiritual aspirations of the business and the business foundations of yoga practitioners. Its a great resource!
ideally, you really shouldn't practice any of this stuff without a yoga trainer. realistically, you can do the easier stuff without a yoga trainer, but definitely don't try the more advanced positions without a trainer by your side. you could strain or hurt your body.
yes you are right but for me its not belong to time on the afternoon my reins can not pow down more than 90 dgree.my body totaly have not a good flexibility.

@tmatini If you are not flexible at all, then buy some personal massage tools or massage pillows or even better get some therapeutic massages from a professional. From my own experience I can say this will help you 100X more than yoga to become more flexible.

yoga is good for your body, but as a christian, i do not agree with the meditation, or how you call it, when the subject is about the spiritual effects of doing yoga.
All i wanted to tell is, even if i did not practiced gymnastics, yoga or whatever special sports, God granted me this talent, to be flexible, and i do not require hours of practicing, meditating to have a healthy body and mind. Mens sana in corpore sano.
@borzasiandras What do you think praying is? Also meditation.
Meditation in Christianity through praying was and still is a very common practice both with common people and Monks and Nuns.
Your ability to do all the moves (which I highly doubt you posses) does not mean you are actually performing yoga. Yoga is about breath and focus through movement, not the ability to fold yourself into a pretzel :-).
Also why do you think god would be against self improvement and learning?
@kiaganga of course, not for hours, because i do not practice any kind of sports professionally, but i tried to do every step from this video , and i was able to keep up with him.
@borzasiandras can you outline the benefits of claiming your dislike of yoga in the comments section of a video about yoga? How does it help improve the general public? How does it help to improve you?
Your answer shouldn't be motivated by the need to win. Also, it certainly should not revolve around ego.
exelente,lo practico hace un mes y me ha servido mucho parea mis lesiones en las piernas y espalda, mil gracias y que el Gran Maestro de maestros los bendiga
Hey, we're Polish. we want to make a gift to a colleague who has a 18th birthday. If you want to help record a video greeting and be sure to use the word PAULINA. If you have nothing better to do this will help us happy, our mates.

Free energy technology exists! But some very powerfull ppl don't want you and me to be free from energy costs,if you want a real Free energy Magnet Motor, get the blueprints at LT-MAGNET-MOTORdotCOM ,The revolution begins!
yoga is in religion. religion is not in yoga. one may practice without being a certain religion. we all strive to have internal peace and to achieve a better relationship with the God that we serve. let's not fight among religion and yoga, lets just practice practice practice. no one has to be "right" we just have to be harmonious. otherwise, we end up just like those we are criticizing. assume ur asana and lets be the example of true love and acceptance :)
how did i get here.

@borzasiandras can you perform cundalini for many hours for total climax ,through of your christian teachings!mmm think not

@borzasiandras when will you post the video depicting your prowess?
wylwrk 1 year ago
@wylwrk when i will have a decent camera. i dislike yoga. it's freak. but i love gymnastics :D
borzasiandras 1 year ago
@borzasiandras can you outline the benefits of claiming your dislike of yoga in the comments section of a video about yoga? How does it help improve the general public? How does it help to improve you?
Your answer shouldn't be motivated by the need to win. Also, it certainly should not revolve around ego.

Hey, we're Polish. we want to make a gift to a colleague who has a 18th birthday. If you want to help record a video greeting and be sure to use the word PAULINA. The form and amount of the recording is not limited important that you use his native language. The end result will be posted on youtube. If you have nothing better to do this will help us happy, our mates.
Salute Piotrek and Dawid:)

yoga is in religion. religion is not in yoga. one may practice without being a certain religion. we all strive to have internal peace and to achieve a better relationship with the God that we serve. let's not fight among religion and yoga, lets just practice practice practice. no one has to be "right" we just have to be harmonious. otherwise, we end up just like those we are criticizing. assume ur asana and lets be the example of true love and acceptance :)

@22kymberle 90% of non-hindus make fun of hinduism yet yoga came from hinduism. So why do people practice our religion and the mock it?
