  • haha sounds so cute

  • drie, vier, tien: your i: should be slightly shorter

vijf: should be a v with friction

zes: your e sounds like an English ash, instead of a short e

zeven: intervocalic v should be more voiced

  • extremely close to German.

  • it's like in the middle of english and german

  • well.. i am learning too with out course ... but i know better than you..(no ofence :P ) and u have to pronounce those rrrrrrrrrr capiche?

    :P good good :)

  • Dutch is cool

  • when you say vijf it's more like wijf which means woman

if you say vijf (and vier), you want to let the v sound like an f

  • It actually sounds closer to English than to German.

  • @XmisterIS it's a mix between english, german and danish

  • german and dutch are actually VERY diffirent, they are by far not alike, they only look alike because other people don't know them. I speak both and grammar and vocabulary wise they are nothing alike.

Oh and a tip for you. I noticed you said "t-intig"instead of twintig. Try saying "twin" and then add "tig" also you said, dretien instead of dertien.

  • I have a "Numbers in PA Dutch (Amish)" video in my account, and it is funny how they are similar to the Dutch language...

  • Not bad. My compliments. You pronounced the 'g' very well, which is difficult for not-dutch speakers.

You speak a lot of languages. Very bright.

  • wow german and dutch are so alike!

  • @HanillaBabee I'm from holland and when we need to learn german on school it's really easy because both look almost the same. Like the numbers in german and dutch almost the same.

  • cool
