@SuperHenderson13 Lidstrom left the ice because he made it through 25 odd people, and Crosby was busy talking to the media, what you are supposed to do after you do the handshake. you talk about leading your team after a loss. Lidstrom was the first person in line at the handshake line, he made it through everyone, and Crosby was no where in sight. it is not Lidstrom's job to make Crosby come to the line, Crosby didn't come, that is on him, Lidstrom did his job.

2) Why were the red wings given 9 PPs in Game 5 while the Penguins only got 2?
3) Why were the red wings given the last 2 PPs in Game 6?
i could go on, but i think i made my point, so it seems like the Wings had chances to tie the game up in the last 2 games of the series. so yes, clearly, by awarding the wings 2 PPs in the 3rd period in both game 6 AND 7, they favored the pens. good try.

no one ever said that power plays had to be roughly equal, if you have one team, like Phoenix who plays a gritty game, playing against a team like Detroit, who plays a finesse, skill oriented game, the Gritty team will take more penalties.
