people, a fetus is not an independent, individual being. it is NOT. anyone saying so is retarded and delusional for sure. of course you all know i am referring to retarded ass angel shoulders comment. she seems to think that abortions were not performed until roe-v-wade! its a crime to be that fucken cretinous!
Please pray on the special beads of the Rosary of the Unborn, given by Our Lady with a promise to save one life from death by abortion for each Hail Mary said with love on these beads. Please watch a short video-presentation on my channel, with the web address where you can get them from. Blessings of the United Hearts of Jesus and Mary!
@Dazejeckel hi as u can se i am 7 week pregnant, my dr said to wai 3 days so we can be sure but my baby dos not have a heart beat at 7 weeks so we wait 3 days to be sure that my baby is alive or not but if it is not than i must do an abortion.....So after u what kinde of mother i would be and 7 weeks the baby has averything even the heart and god i hope to beat...
Do not mind the user angelshoulders, who only posts manipualitve, biased and nonsensical, verbally-manipulative SPAM to 'protect' 'babies'.- she is not even pro'life'! She thinks children CHOOSE to be abused! Well, that's what she told me, after losing her temper w/ me for not regretting my abortion at 14, and she denied it! Too bad her comments she denied ever posting are screencapped and available for all to see in my video 'why i am prochoice'. If I chose to be abused, she chose to be raped!
@HowardSternn Some people just don't think... Having kids is not a game. Each child has his own personal needs. No two kids are alike... some may have a lot of things in common but they are still individuals. Having eight children on purpose is wrong... Is she really going to give each and every one of her kids the attention they each deserve? Is she going to be able to get to know each and every one of her kids? People have to think about the kids.
If you are truly prolife, against the deliberate and premeditated killing of our precious unborn living human beings, don't waste time on utube, instead, get politically involved. Contact your representatives every day!! Once a day!! Let them know how you feel!!
@angelshoulders You do have a point, if people would stand up for what they believe in, there would be a change. ...and yes, I'm speaking for myself as well... I'm not a political person... I don't understand how that works, but there are others who know much more and are able to do stuff like that. Others can just be there to raise awareness of certain issues. People do what they can... there are those who can do more, and they should... and that goes for me as well. =]
We do not have the right to decide for another person whether or not his life is worth living. Such rationale still leads to the extreme . We euthanize animals because they do not make decisions for themselves, because they are lesser beings in our care. But human children are not lesser beings, and so the decision should be their's alone.Granted, many do suffer abuse, but does common sense truly show that it is better to make a murderer's job easier?
When people are given the abortion pill they are not always shown an ultra-sound. Look up abortion at 9 weeks by Kareokegirl on youtube, who was told that she would expel blood clots, not a full embryo, which she ended up expelling an embryo. Someone told her didn't you know that that pill makes you miscarry and she wasn't informed of that. She was just told that she would pass blood clots.
so what about if someone is made pregnant if they don't want to be- either by rape or a condom breaking? Yeah, this is a really well-balanced look at the issue(!) oh well, the ol' coathanger's still the way to go for me!
The child is a human being. The child has a right to live, we do not have the right to take away the life of the child who is about to be born. If you dont believe that then you have NO compassion for a living human being.
@cheyenne86 oh but we do have a right to take away the life of the women. During the Bush administration thousands of women died because of his supposed "pro-life" stance and refusal to fund clinics in the third world where women have no choice whether her husband or anyone else impregnates her. So don't tell me she should have kept her legs together.
@bashia Pregnancy is not easy, but love is when you are concerned for safety and life of someone else other than yourself. Most mother's if they love their children would do that. I thank God I live in the U.S, because I would have died if I were in a third world country, and so would my daughter. But like most good mothers, I would have put her first. As a pastor once said "It is against the law to murder, but that law has to step aside when it comes to women's choices" Abortion is whatitis
@LovedbcHim Nobel sentiments, but also narrow perspective. Sometimes putting your unborn first means setting aside the needs of your born children. Also, while self-sacrifice can be noble, if you don't attend to your own needs, you really have nothing to give. Your world must be very shielded from the havoc in our world today if you don't understand this.
@bashia And what are you teaching your already born child by aborting their brother or sister? That life is meaningless right. I'm sorry but you are teaching them that they have a right to kill if they don't like someone or if someone is an inconvenience in their lives. Plus that, your not putting their needs first. If your putting their needs first you would also be teaching them right from wrong too.
@LovedbcHim I would not discuss it with them until they are capable of complex reasoning. But then I would say that each child should be nurtured in a way that enables them to realize God and, I believe, you should not allow an embryo or fetus to develop to a point of becoming aware of itself and its life if you cannot be assured that you can nurture.
@bashia I think that's great. Children need to be nurtured and they need to have faith in God, but abortion is still wrong. An embryo is still a life. That's still their brother or sister. My mom gave me that news when I was 15 that she had an abortion. I was understanding, but it still made me think that was my brother or sister and later she even told me that she wished she gave birth to that baby.
@LovedbcHim I dropped out of computer programming in 1968. I was top of the class and teacher was impressed with how innovative I was. I wonder what my life would have been like if I had not dropped out. I can dwell on that and think about it, but it's my choice whether to get into regret. Same with considering your brother or sister. It's all in your head. You never really had any relationship with that fetus. You say abortion is wrong, I say in many cases it's right.
@LovedbcHim Except there are many places in the Bible that say advocate killing for being gay, for working on the Sabbath, for not being virgin on wedding night, for cursing parents, for fortune telling. Murder is the UNLAWFUL killing of a human being. The Bible never condemns abortion.
@bashia That was more like the law of Moses. The Isrealites weren't living for God during those times. They were worshipping other Gods and giving themselves up for idolatry and adultery. God designed this world to be a sinless world without death. But we as human beings chose sin. "Murders is the unlawful killing of a human being" Abortion murders a human being.
@LovedbcHim You obviously have a different interpretation of the Bible than I do. And I have the sense I'm not going to change you're mind, because you are obviously indoctrinated. So....
@bashia look who's indoctrinated. I was indoctrinated like you in the same manner as you are, but I started asking questions when I reached my twenties. Everyone really is indoctrinated in one way or the other, the real question is, do you have the flexibility of mind to question and look outside that indoctrination.
@LovedbcHim abortion isn't murder. Murder is the illegal killing of a human being and until it's illegal, it's not murder. Jesus never mentioned murder, but talked constantly of helping the poor and tolerance for those we usually don't tolerate. Research shows that all societal ills are due to inequality in society--just as Jesus taught. Help women have economic success and you'll prevent many abortions. Create a society that supports children and mothers.
@LovedbcHim you say it's wrong and that's your judgement, it is not mine. You can quote misplaced Bible passages all you want, but the fact is this is a secular country. None of us really knows if there is a higher power or, if there is, what that higher power thinks about abortion--as much as you may insist you do. Actually based on nature's actions, I'd say it's OK. Nature commits more abortions naturally every day than we do. So keep your laws off my uterus.
@bashia By the time an embryo is 8 or 9 weeks that's when they usually start to feel pain. I mean their nervous system starts developing around that time, and like any other person, they can sense when something different is happening. They may not be able to comprehend. Abortion by the way, actually ruins a woman's life. It's a choice that a woman lives with for the rest of her life.
@LovedbcHim this is simply not born out by research--pain that is. Abortion usually only ruins a woman's life when she begins to feel guilty about her decision because of BS impressed upon her by pro-lifers and Bible thumpers
@bashia the problem is that you have a different view of the universe than I. You see death as unnatural and to be avoided at all costs in every instance. We naturally don't want our lives taken from us and we shouldn't have to worry about that whether or not we are temporarily unconscious or not. But an embryo could care less whether it lives or dies and has the potential to destroy the life of the woman carrying it.
@bashia I believe your perspective is the narrow one, because you do not recognize the human misery that is involved when women are saddled with too many babies in a society that does not support them. I'm talking about the misery for her and the misery for the children she already has. Millions of children go to bed hungry and otherwise unnourished. If you want to prevent abortion, participate in creating a society where women feel economically capable of maintaining their pregnancies.
@LovedbcHim we murder all the time. The question to debate and consider is why do we sanctify human life and what exactly does that mean. My answer to that is that we are societal beings with a consciousness that can consider what will happen to us if our neighbors are allowed to murder us. We need to organize our societies in such a way that we all feel safe and able to self-actualize or realize God.

@bashia Yet a born child cannot protect itself. Like an unborn child they are dependant on other people. Sanctity of life is meant to protect those who cannot protect themselves, that includes elderly, special needs and unborn children. What about those children who could've actually helped society do a better job at protecting our nation? They existed, but think about it. Their life was taken before society even got to meet them.
@LovedbcHim I have a different understanding of Sanctifying life. Sanctify means "to keep it holy". I believe that it means to care for human life. We all need caring for so that we don't suffer and are capable of love. It doesn't always mean just to keep it alive. In some instances it may be more merciful to let it go back to it's essence. The woman's life is also deserving of sanctity, as much as you may wish to ignore that.
@bashia I have been pregnant, and yes my life has actually been threatened by the pregnancy because I developed an infection, but I was also 27 weeks and 5 days pregnant when it occured, so they were able to save both the baby and me. If I were to tell them to abort her because I knew she would be suffering being premature, which she did suffer a lot, but that would be very selfish of me. It would'nt be merciful. Now I have a healthy 1 year old daughter whom I love very much.
@LovedbcHim I'm glad for you, but not everyone has your exact same circumstance and if you can't see that, if you can't understand that some women might be in a much more dire circumstance. You obviously had medical care and many women don't have access to medical care. Millions of children are going to bed hungry in this country alone. Please wake up to the fact that not everyone lives the protected life that you have.
@bashia I certainly don't live the protected life. There were times when my husband I didn't know where we would live. But God is a provider.........I'm not saying that those who are starving don't have enough faith, because difficult times happen in life. I know there are women who have had a pregnancy removed because of health problems, and the baby was so early and the doctors and mother tried hard to wait it out but couldn't, but at least they got to say goodbye, un-like with abortion
@bashia I would never ever take any of my children's lives because of starvation. Do I want my kids to suffer? Never..........I would rather send them on a train to heaven to be with Jesus. But God called us to be their parents, despite, whether it's their maternal parents or if we choose to raise them on our own. I do believe those babies are in the arms of Jesus, but I don't believe it is ever o.k to terminate a pregnancy.
@bashia Some people abort their babies because they are handicapped, but what they don't realize is they could really learn a lot from those handicapped children and those children really do not suffer like some people think. They don't see what they go through as suffering unless the adult points it out to them and feels sorry for them, but if they are being raised in a loving home, they can live a life just as happy as any other child. And by the way, I do care about women.
@bashia Psalm 139. There are many verses in the bible proclaiming that God knew us, loved and created us while we were not even born yet. He sets a plan together for each one of us. This is something that we do not need to be taking into our own hands. And you had made a comment a while ago about setting your already child's needs aside. That's not true. And planned parenthood sometimes over exagerates things. They don't mention that a mother does not have to go fullterm.
@LovedbcHim I believe an aborted fetus goes back to its essence. I believe that is it better to abort an infant you feel unable to care for than to bring it into a life in which you may not be able to provide for it's needs. Millions of children go hungry in this country. BTW Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being so abortion isn't murder. I would put my children first by aborting another fetus I cannot care for before that fetus is self-aware enough to own it's life.
@LovedbcHim and if you had four children already, which one would you put first if they were all starving to death. I say the oldest, because that child is more aware of itself, more likely to survive, more attached to its life. A baby is not the least afraid of death, so if I had to choose I'd let the baby go gently into that good night rather than the child. I know instinct says otherwise, because we have a strong instinct to protect babies, but God gave us intellect.
@bashia People do try to put it all on the females. Why don't they talk to the males about having respect for themselves and females? All they talk about is how a FEMALE should protect herself, but what do they tell the MALE? The female must make all these sacrifices... how she dresses, talks, walks, looks, smells, and other crap, but nothing is said to the male. That itself, you can say is sexism. Both should be responsible for themselves and have respect for each other and themselves.
@cheyenne86 and you my dear have very little insight and, without questioning are accepting the lies of the pro-life movement. It is not a child about to be born. The only full term abortions happen explicitly to save the life of the mother. It is most often an embryo with conscious intent who could care less whether it lives or dies.
@cheyenne86 there is a natural instinct or inclination to protect cute little babies. Without that, I'm sure the human species would not have survived, because, quite frankly, those adorable little things can be quite troublesome. But to project that instinct onto an embryo is insanity. Remember, mother nature performs abortions all the time.
You know, I heard a great saying... "I've never met someone that was pro-choice that wasn't alive." You wouldn't even have that right to your opinion if your mother hadn't given you a chance.
@andada3 Yeah.. my mother was forced to have me, and then forced to keep me and I spent 17 years getting beaten up by someone who is now in prison for attempted murder.. My choice would have been abortion- for my mother AND for myself.
@ryddelwearsahat Abortion is always going to be a tough subject that will never be solved. I am so sorry for your misfortune and your upbringing. But I believe sometimes people go through things to rise above them and maybe become something greater. God or whatever people want to believe don't give us goodness, the good is within ourselves. Take your experiences and help others.
@ryddelwearsahat I'm so sorry that you were not nurtured as you deserved to be. But I'm glad you're expressing this perspective because it's true for millions of unwanted, uncared for children. I was uncared for and suffered tremendously and only after years of suffering and wishing I had the courage to kill myself, have I finally come to a place where life is tolerable. But if I had the choice, I wouldn't have lived it.
@ryddelwearsahat So sorry that happened to you, but your mother's choice to give you life has NOTHING to do with keeping you. All it takes is contacting an agency specializing in closed adoptions and believe me, they would have made all arrangements to get your mom out of state -- if she were 16 or older at the time -- to have you adopted.
@BillyBobKumar Uhm, it has everything to do w/ what her choices were- b/c she didn't have any. IF seemone has the right to force a woman, through threat of battery, homelessness, even death, to keep an unwanted pregnancy, then NOTHING stops them from extending that pressure and abuse to keeping the born child.. Force is force, slavery is slavery, and abuse is abuse, and it all comes from somewhere, and certain things increase the potential dramatically- forced motherhood is one of them.
@ryddelwearsahat Forgive me, but you must either be very young or from another country, as your argument simply has no legal merit: It was a Supreme Court decision that allowed for abortion at will in the 1st place. LEGALLY the laws concerning abortion are inconsistent, and will someday need to be amended. Having a baby and keeping it are two entirely different things -- all she had to do was give the baby up. I stand by my answer...and my points are valid.
@BillyBobKumar Tell me why forced adoption, charity, organ/blood doning are illegal. Tell me why slavery is unconstitutional, please. =) Do'nt try to defend or argue about why it is or is not valid in abortion debate- just tell me why these things are all illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional.
@ryddelwearsahat People go through a lot. I can't imagine what other people go through, so it's hard for me to relate to them. But I do know of people who have been through so much pain in their life and yet they manage to get by and help others who are in the same situations as them. I also know that people have different levels of tolerance. some can handle things that others can't. I just hope that people would have respect for themselves and for each other. that'll help improve the world.
Please have it known that the user angelshoulders is a liar and hypocrite, who claims that children CHOOSE to be abused.
And seeing as how I was abused growing up, and and had an abortion at 14 and still would not DREAM of EVER hurting an innocent child, she also uses lies and propaganda to further her agenda.
Do not be taken in by a woman who told me I chose to be abused- she does not care about children, is a liar, and a coward, and also has spam-diarrhea of the mouth.
It is mind boggling how ppl can justify the killing of millions of unborn living human beings. They use poverty, overpopulation(myth),abuse, homelessness(even though many 'chose' to be homeless), sentience, convenience and a plethora of other 'EXCUSES'. The fact remains that these unborn are human, they are alive and abortion kills an unborn living human being.
@angelshoulders In the U.S. we use 40% of the world's resources and we are 5% of the world's population. That's why we have the world's largest army--to preserve our control over other countries resources. Spreading democracy Ha! When't the last time you've seen our countries military actions establish a democracy. Our government almost always supports dictatorships. Check it out--it's true. Dictators are easier to manipulate and buy off.
@angelshoulders assuming you live in the U.S. and have at least somewhat of a typical American lifestyle, you are murdering millions of women and children around the world. You don't pay any attention to that rather you focus on embryos that don't have the consciousness to care about their lives.
@bashia Here it is: Feminism has nothing to do with equal rights. It’s a white female dominated power structure that promotes the rights of *upper middle-class white women* at the expense of everyone else.
Feminist icon Margaret Sanger was the founder of Planned Parenthood and creator of the “Negro Project” which promoted the “extermination of the negro population through abortion”.
Feminists are the worst racists and gender biased criminals on the face of this earth
@angelshoulders What does this have to do with our argument? You evade again because you cannot seem to counter my points. I am not Margaret Sanger. I have not even mentioned feminism. But now that you do, you are like the Muslim haters that assume because a few are terrorists all 2 billion are bad. Would you go back to the days when women were mere property of their husbands and fathers? Maybe you are too young to remember what it was like before the feminist movement.
@bashia I would not like go back to the days when women were considered mere property by they husbands & fathers. But I would love to go back to a time when a mother did not consider her children as property!! When a mother can consider her unbrn living human baby a 'glob of cells', rather then what he/she really is, a living human being in womb, when a mother can consider her living unborn human baby a 'part of her own body' and not a completely individual living human being, DELUSIONAL!
@angelshoulders our world views differ to the degree that I don't think you'll ever be able to understand me. I don't think there is such a thing as an individual soul and we are all part of a living breathing system. Whether we are conscious of it or not. In the respect that you don't seemed to have ever questioned or looked outside of your particular indoctrination and are so certain of your rightness, I'm certain I'll never get you to understand my perspective.
@angelshoulders It's been estimated that earth's resources can only support of population of 2 billion living the lifestyle of the typical person living in the U.S. The world population reached 2 billion in 1930 after thousands of years of human civilization. In the 80 short years since then we've added 2 billion to that 3 times and expect another billion added to that in 10 years. We are rounding an exponential curve of popuation growth in which the only way to stop it is massive genocide.
okay i understand. at the end of the day, we just have to agree to disagree. this is one of the most controversial issues in our time and i respect other people's views.
im a mother and im happy to be one. though its an additional responsibility, nothing is more fulfilling than having a baby.
I understand that we really ought to think of ourselves, whats best for us but i hope we are also willing to face the consequences of all our actions.
ABORTION DOESNT MAKE ONE UN-PREGNANT. IT MAKES ONE A MOTHER OF DEAD CHILD. we can argue anyway we like but this is a fact and this is the truth. IT'S NOT A CHOICE. IT'S A BABY.
if a woman who wanted her baby miscarries do you tell her she is still a mother but insteaed a mother of a "dead" child? no you wouldn't. you would console her and encourage her to try again for a baby. mothers, by definition have children that are BORN. pregnant women are mothers to be; potential mothers.
pregnant women are MOTHERS to be. u said it so yourself.. such women who miscarried, the kind that u mentioned, acknowledged the fact that they are mothers of dead children... thats why they need our support, our consolation, our encouragement. this is the reason why im against abortion. a baby is a gift that some of us may never have but others chose to carelessly disregard.
Most miscarriages happen naturally w/o the awareness of the woman. They are extremely frequent events. When aware of them many women are relieved they miscarried. Stillborns have more of an emotional impact, but happen later in pregnancy. "Others chosing to disregard" is such a judgemental, blame the victim statement in a society that refuses to economically support women and their children. 50% of children in the U.S. are living in poverty.
motherhood starts at conception. once u conceived, good mothers will nurture that baby in their womb. a mother by definition is a woman who conceives, gives birth to, or raises and nurtures a child; a female parent of an animal; a female ancestor. other definitions: A female person who is pregnant with or gives birth to a child; female person whose egg unites with a sperm, resulting in the conception of a child; a woman who adopts a child; a woman who raises a child.
@tsabadodo In my mind a mother is someone who nurtures a child and many women don't do that today because they are too busy and stressed with their jobs. We have created a society that does not support children and it is a crime to bring an unconscious being into this society unless you are willing to sacrifice to support it. Most people don't have a clue to the developmental needs of their children
@tsabadodo It may be said that a mother is someone who mothers. Many women give birth to children and do not mother them. Some women don't even know the children they gave birth to. You're using semantics that do not give any weight to your argument.
i dont condemn those who committed abortion. they need our understanding , our support, our forgiveness, because these are things that we cannot give to our own selves. these videos, i believe, are not made to condemn them, but to let them see the wrongness of the act. hopefully, acceptance will come to them and then they can start forgiving themselves... these are also meant to those who are thinking of abortion. as we learn from history and our own lives, another wrong wont make a wrong right
Isn't this just stupid. It makes me sick how well the anti-choice anti-woman movement has propagandized Americans into ignoring women and their children.
every woman is not happy being a mother sweet heart. i have heard women say they could not imagine life without their children or child and i have heard others say that if they could do it all over again, they would not have had children..i have heard A LOT of women say this. you cannot use your life as the yard stick of what everyone elses should or even can be. people are different, have different perspectives, different situations, etc.. etc..
yeah i know... everyone is not happy being a mother but i hope they realize it before they do anything that will make them a mother. happiness is not only about doing what we want. i hope one who supports abortion are truly happy, truly at peace with themselves and with the world, truly joyful about being alive. life is not only about our own happiness. its also about love for others, responsibility, and faith.
Yeah, good luck trying to make human beings stop having sex. You got your work cut out for you with that one, and I can't help but wonder why you care so much about other people's sex lives.
Nothing is more heartbreaking than having a baby you are economically or psychologically unable to care for.
An embryo or fetus is NOT a child or a baby. Most abortions occur when the embryo is the size of a lentil. While a fetus has the structures of the brain, the dendrites that enable the neurons to fire don't develop until later in the 7th & 8th month. Therefore, the neurons of the frontal lobe are not firing and that fetus is not yet capable of human consciousness.
@bashia Actually upon conception, a 'child's' own DNA is formed, by the 4th week, the heartbeat can be detected, a 7-8 week embryo is about half an inch, not the size of a lentil bean. By 7-8 weeks, each 'child' already has their own fingerprints and footprints, their brain is starting to form and by 12 weeks brain activity can be detected and all the organs are in place. And by the way, my daughter was born when I was 6 months pregnant with her. She is alive and healthy with brain waves
oh yes, but what kind of brain activity? Just because brain activity is detected does not mean there is any meaningful consciousness or self-awareness. I'm glad your daughter survived because apparently you wanted her, but fact is at 6 months a fetus could care less whether it lives or dies. It has no attachment to life or self awareness.
@bashia They may not have self awareness and they may not undestand that they are living beings who are meant to live, but by instinct they do fight for their own lives. You should walk in a NICU sometime. If any human being has a lot of fight it is a preemie. That is even the ones who don't make it, you still see them fighting to hang in there. And these little ones feel double the amount of pain as any adult, which means a fetus feels that pain too.
@LovedbcHim all life struggles for survival. So your statement implies nothing really. Also, apparently scientists have found that babies in the womb are under a sedative effect from chemicals secreted by the placenta. And exactly how do you know they feel double the pain? How do you know that. We are taught not to scream when we feel pain, but that may only mean we feel it more since screaming tends to help obliterate the pain. So a screaming premie doesn't necessarily feel 2x the pain
@bashia That is not true at all! Do you think babies who are born months premature can't feel? Oh, and by the way infants cry in the womb, its been proven. If you are going to try and sound smart, get your human biology straight first. Maybe you are young? The frontal lobe which affects your reasoning does not finish developing until your early twenties.
@andada3 scientists are saying that fetuses and embryos are under a heavy sedative effect while in the womb. Also, the pain that is experienced during an abortion is over in a matter of seconds and I guarantee that if that fetus is born it will experience much more pain during it's life.
@dragonpat666 So if you are underwater and someone stabs you, you're not going to scream or feel it? LOL. And I was just stating a fact. I never argued prolife.
@dragonpat666 It's true. Some ultra-sounds have shown babies producing tears while in the womb. I can assure you if the mother is feeling pain, the baby is feeling it too.
@dragonpat666 The con is that the baby feels pain. It's possible for an unborn child to feel growing pains too, because they are growing a lot while in the womb. The pro is that with showing an ultra-sound the mom usually changes her mind about terminating the pregnancy. Yes, a baby feels pain when they are being aborted. Probably a tremendous amount.
@LovedbcHim i understand being compassionate to the pain the unborn may feel while being aborted. this "pain" does not register until, according to science, after about 3 months. bottom line, the decision to abort must stay in the hands of the woman carrying. if a woman changes her mind about abortion after viewing an ultrasound then maybe she did not really want one to began with. who is against showing a woman an ultrasound before performing an abortion?
@bashia Medical Research has shown that when an 8 week old human foetus is pricked in the palm of his hand by a needle, he opens his mouth and pulls his hand away. There is also an increase in heart rate.
These findings strongly suggest that the 8 week old foetus can feel pain (Volman & Pearson, "What the Fetus Feels," British Med. Journal, Jan. 26, 1980, pp. 233-234). Killing a living unborn human being is killing. Whether the baby can feel pain or not is irrelevant. It is still killing
@bashia By your thought, should we not also kill the poor, the depressed, the children starving in Africa,or anyone else who suffers? After all,in OUR estimation their lives are not worth living,it's just too painful for them.Oh,they disagree?Well, they just aren't smart enough to know what's good for them! so shut down the soup kitchens and the humanitarian aid! let us take up arms and seek the suffering of the world, that we may release them from their valueless lives in a hale of gunfire!
@angelshoulders 1 we're already killing them. 2. I don't believe in taking anyone's life who already owns it--which includes those who are temporarily unconscious for one reason or another. But for those who are permanently incapable of ever becoming conscious, if we have a way to know for sure, I say release them to start anew. I think you are so self-righteous you are just desperately grabbing for straws to throw at my argument, no matter how ridiculous.
@bashia "Because of the present limits of such detection methods, most birth defects are not discovered until birth. "If a child were not declared alive until three days after birth, then all parents could be allowed the choice . . . the doctor could allow the child to die, if the parents so choose, and save a lot of misery and suffering." "Children from the Laboratory," J. Watson, AMA Prism, Ch. 3, p. 2
@tsabadodo it does not make a mother of a dead child, since children are not aborted, embryos and fetuses are. Nope and it's not a baby either as much as you'd like to tweek our emotions to get us thinking of it as such.
I'm alive because my mother didn't abort me when she was young. thank you mom! and thanks for giving me up for adoption ill never forget what you've done for me! <3
People can judge and say I'm a godless heartless whore, that I'll regret it someday, that I'm in denial, that I'm not a human, they can make excuses, but they don';t know ME. They know what THEY felt, and what THEY would have and NOT have been able to do.
Life is not a lifetime movie premier- you don't always end up falling in love with your pregnant belly and having the community and family overcome adversity to live happily ever after.
@RyddelIsFree Thank you, Ryddells for making a wise decision for yourself and your unborn embryo. Ignore those mindless fools that are trying to make you feel guilty. There are many more of us out here in the world, (although not necessarily the U.S.) that believe you have made the right decision for yourself. If you ever have doubt, write me.
@bashia Most women are pro-life and so were the early feminists: "I deplore the horrible crime of child murder. No matter what the motive-love of ease, or a desire to save from suffering the unborn innocent-the woman is awfully guilty who commits the deed." Susan B. Anthony, 1869
@angelshoulders Doesn't mean they're right. The pro-life movement in this country has been very effective at spreading misinformation about abortion. In the 70's before the pro-life movement most women were for abortion.
@bashia That is not true & you know it. Planned Parenthood with holds & lies to these mothers. They are not informed about the stage of developement of their precious living unborn babies. You have seen the hidden video's. I would like to see your statistics & your source for your absurd comment re: "In the 70's before the pro-life movement most women were for abortion." You just expect all us readers to suck your comments up with a straw! You don't have a lot of faith in our intelligence!
I know women who have had a hard life, but they keep their child regardless. I admire those women. She did everything she could to give her children a chance to live. She did it alone.
I understand that many women are not able to cope with many things, but taking a child's life is never a good thing. Nine months is a long time, but wait those nine months instead of having a lifetime of regret. And I'm not saying it because the church says it's a sin... I'm saying it because it's a human being..
@ShatteredDreamsv23g5 and I know women who kept their children and are so stressed they treat their children in detestable ways. They may have initially been well intended but the effects of stress can turn monsters into the best of us. We are not talking about taking a child's life, we're talking about aborting a fetus and not bringing an unconscious being into a life that does not nuture it.
@bashia Do you believe the new "ethic" should be that we kill the suffering or burdensome? Some of these cases are tragic, some are also inspirational. We cannot assume the responsibility for killing an unborn child simply because the child has not yet been seen in public. The child's place of residence does not change what abortion does - kill a human being.
@angelshoulders Nope that's not what I believe. If someone is conscious of their lives or temporarily unconscious--they own it and we should not be stealing it from them.
@bashia You are correct that some mother's do miscarry, which is a 'natural' occurance, there is nothing natural about an abortionist forcibly entering a mother's womb with the cold hard steel tools of the trade, with the sole intention of dismembering, tearing, ripping & suctioning out the new life that she herself helped to create. VAST difference between a miscarraige & forced abortion. You are taking a life that has never had the opportunity to live outside the womb & legally murdering
What does the Bible say about unborn children, "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be." (Psalm 139:13-16).
but it dont make it right, sorry, for got to add that, keeping in mind if its extreme circumstances like cancer or rape, use contraception or simply keep your legs frigging losed, simple as, poor little things didint ask for this treatment, im expecting, was a total shock for the both of us, but we now couldint be more excited to hold our little one, and i get excited with every kick x
Well, I hope you're happy. It's a big responsibility, and you miss out on a lot when you become parents. I hope you don't end up regretting it -- unfortunately, many parents do.
I don't beliven god,but i absolutely do not believe in abortion because they are human and they cant help that they were put inside of you because if the parents don't want a child then they should wear protection. And people say Do they see, hear or feel anything?answer is always yes!because they cant even defend themselves from danger. And so whoever thinks abortion is right..Ur crazy Bcuz if your mother got an abortion then U wouldnt be there!A person is a person,NO MATTER HOW SMALL! Dr, Suess
i cant believe it,the one thing women are designed to do "bring life, create life", some selfish ass women cant do. im a woman and all these women who have abortions make me feel ashamed for being a woman! even if they were raped or whatever they themselves are commiting yet another crime, by taking a human life. but i bet theyre happy their moms didnt abort them!
@LiLADy05 your world is so small and your mind is so small that you can't even imagine the kind of hardship that some women face. It does become unsurmountable for many it will destroy their very soul. and oh come on. Our egos can't imagine not being but that doesn't necessarily mean we LIKE being.
Middleclass privilaged people living in suburbs of a first world nation using the diminished lives of not just children but adults as well in 3rd world countries under control of brutal regimes as justification for dehumanizing &exacting their wrath on their very own unborn like jews in an oven is more than getting old.
@angelshoulders sweetie it's not the middleclass women I'm concerned with--they can afford a child. Your arguments never really address my points which may mean you have no good arguments at all
@bashia You grade human life as if you were the USDA meat inspectors. How can you say one life is worth more then another. How can you grade life as if it were on a scale. Dehumanizing is what you are doing. All life is LIFE, whether that life be in the womb or in a hospital bed comatose. Is the unborn less alive then that of an alzheimers patient? Is the unborn human less human then a person with special needs. Is one living in another country worth more then one in your country?Meat inspector!
@angelshoulders You exaggerate and evade to argue your side, which may mean you have no real argument. Yes an unborn embryo is less human that a person with special needs. An embryo does not even differentiate itself from the cells in the womb that surround it, it has no hopes, no dreams no concern whether it lives or dies. A person with special needs does and may also have relationships with people who loves her.
@bashia There you go again, like the USDA, grading pieces of meat! Do you have no respect for life whatsoever. Whether that child is sentient is irrelevant. The fact remains that the life within the womb is a life, it is human, it is real! You would not consider an alzheimers patient less human or alive, a coma patient. It all boils down to one thing, 'convenience' and we all know it. Whether the baby is 'wanted' or not. Does that mean that elderly in homes w/o visitors is killable?
Pro or against, we can't continue to have it both ways. We can't give a woman the right to abort her fetus while at the same time allow her to sue in court on it's behalf -- even if she miscarries. Likewise, we can't force men to financially support a baby he didn't want, while at the same time give him no choice in weather in preventing the fetus' death via abortion. So...a fetus isn't a "real" baby unless a woman wants it or is willing to sue on its behalf?
You make a statement about financially supporting a baby you didn't want. If you didn't want a baby, the time to have your say is before a pregnancy occurrs. As far as not having a choice, as a father, whether a woman can abort your baby or not, I am with you! But then, if they gave you a legal "right" to your "child", they wouldn't get their money from abortion. Fight for your rights as a father, incl. the rape of your income in excess of ability to pay!
@BillyBobKumar yes we can. It's a different issue when a woman is trying to have a baby and it miscarries due to someone else's actions. In that case a woman has her dream of motherhood stolen from her. I agree somewhat that a man should have more of a choice in whether to father or not, but until that fetus is out of a woman's body, it's her physicality that's affected and she should not be forced to be an incubator because of a man's desires. And no, in fact, a fetus is NOT a baby.
@bashia Bashia, you're obviously very young -- and ignorant of the law, as your own statements illustrate the weakness of the laws as they stand. First, you say "baby" when a woman wants it, then say "a fetus is NOT a baby": If it isn't a baby, then why did you call it one in YOUR own answer?! If it isn't a baby, then women shouldn't be able to sue on its behalf. Period. The law can't continue to play it both ways.
@BillyBobKumar The chances are that I'm older than you are. I did NOT refer to a fetus as a baby. I simply was referring to a woman's desire to have a baby. It's a baby after it's born.
@bashia Forgive me, but you're obviously too young to read. Lood at your statement above and tell me you didn't write your last sentence to read "And no, in fact, a fetus is NOT a baby". You wrote it, so try to be an adult and stand corrected.
@BillyBobKumar I was not referring to a fetus. I was referring to a woman's right to have a baby. Try to look at it this way. If a doctor, during an operation, through negligence, destroys a woman's uterus or eggs, she should have the right to sue because she no longer has the ability to conceive or carry a child. In the same way, if a doctor kills her fetus, against her will, he is killing her expectations and right to impending motherhood.
@BillyBobKumar Those are two different situations. I will say it again. When a woman wants a child and she loses that dream because of someone's negligence it's a totally different situation from when a woman doesn't want a child and takes steps to terminate her pregnancy. Surely you can see the difference. Aren't you able to deal with complexity? You must be stuck in latency.
@bashia Look, you are too young for "senior moments", as you've forgotten the main point of my argument: LEGAL! LEGALLY, you can't have two determinations of personhood of a fetus at one stage of development. LEGALLY we can not continue to say that a 4mo. old fetus is not a person/baby in one situation but is in another. This argument was used by the supreme court in countless landmark cases, most noteable to end racial segregation in the US, as the "separate but equal" argument failed.
This is killing a baby in the mothers womb. There is absolutely no excuse for this, and this can never be forgiven, neither in this life nor in the next.
Abortion is a low and cowardly act and attacks against:
-Eternal law: manipulating Gods plans
-Natural law: which requires us to take care of and not to kill innocent beings
-Human law: life is a right which exceeds a personal whim
@stevienickslover I know many women who have never regretted doing it. And I'm willing to bet that many of those that do eventually regret, do so because they are influenced by misinformation from the pro-life movement and end up feeling guilty when they shouldn't. And regret is something you choose to do.
@aliceann76 it's killing a fetus or embryo not a baby. We kill millions of humans everyday because of our greedy lifestyles. We have to have new and better iphones and cells which because of our need for tungsten to provide them women are being slaughtered and raped. People sit here and plea for the lives of unconscious fetuses who could care less and yet ignore the effects of our lifestyles on the lives of millions of people.
I Dont belive in abortion.. i think only women or teenagers who get RAPED do have the choice to abortion, but the others who dont No..
mostly because thats why they INVENTED protection.. stuipds..an think about it.. A lil human in side you. most women cant have kids an want too.. they wish they could..
Actually it is also wrong to abort a baby when the women is raped. Its still her child because it is growing inside of her. She can give it up for adoption. Nine months is worth sacrificing for another human being's life. God still created and and loves that baby just like any other. He is against all abortion no matter what the circumstance is. He didnt say "Do not Murder but in this circumstance, you can". No. He said "Do not Murder" period.
@marissa0782 abortion is not murder. Murder is the unlawful taking of life. There is NOTHING in the Bible that condemns abortion. You can insist that the Bible implies that, but, fact is, the Bible never mentions it.
@1j0se4 Really many women are in economic situations that they will be condemned to dire poverty with no quality of life if they continue on with their pregnancy. You ignore the lack of support women and children have in this society and you also ignore the fact that mistakes will happen and people sometimes aren't reasonable in the face of powerful biological drives. Also, men are not taught to consider women but, in fact, they're too often encouraged to do everything they can to score.
I belive in abortions,I dont think abortions are murder, its a choice, and its a choice that someone will have to live with for the rest of there life. You shouldnt knock people for having an abortion becuase you or anybody else know the reason besides the person who is having one!
Just because something is a choice, it doesnt make it right. And yes, abortion is the killing of an innocent human being that God created. He is against it and says its murder!!!!!!!!!!!
"god" don't create babies, humans do!! people kill me blaming everything on some "god" have you ever met "god"? spoke to him/her? then how the hell you know what "god" is against?
You feel it. He tells you, if you really wish to know. God created humans, and created the means for babies to be created. And people including myself have met God, yes. Even with the fact that God is strongly opposed to abortion, there are many logical and scientific facts that point to the reason that abortion is wrong.
people, a fetus is not an independent, individual being. it is NOT. anyone saying so is retarded and delusional for sure. of course you all know i am referring to retarded ass angel shoulders comment. she seems to think that abortions were not performed until roe-v-wade! its a crime to be that fucken cretinous!

I dont even know what your trying to say but I see the word god in there which tells me you are a moron. and should never be alowed to reproduce.
"God" is an evolutionary coping mechanism created to explain the previously terrifying unexplainable.

One thing we don't need is another Octomom having eight kids
HowardSternn 1 year ago
@HowardSternn Some people just don't think... Having kids is not a game. Each child has his own personal needs. No two kids are alike... some may have a lot of things in common but they are still individuals. Having eight children on purpose is wrong... Is she really going to give each and every one of her kids the attention they each deserve? Is she going to be able to get to know each and every one of her kids? People have to think about the kids.

@HowardSternn if abortion is legal and needed in america then women like her should be stoped in there tracks!!!

If you are truly prolife, against the deliberate and premeditated killing of our precious unborn living human beings, don't waste time on utube, instead, get politically involved. Contact your representatives every day!! Once a day!! Let them know how you feel!!
angelshoulders 1 year ago
@angelshoulders You do have a point, if people would stand up for what they believe in, there would be a change. ...and yes, I'm speaking for myself as well... I'm not a political person... I don't understand how that works, but there are others who know much more and are able to do stuff like that. Others can just be there to raise awareness of certain issues. People do what they can... there are those who can do more, and they should... and that goes for me as well. =]
ShatteredDreamsv23g5 1 year ago

LovedbcHim 1 year ago
so what about if someone is made pregnant if they don't want to be- either by rape or a condom breaking? Yeah, this is a really well-balanced look at the issue(!) oh well, the ol' coathanger's still the way to go for me!

The child is a human being. The child has a right to live, we do not have the right to take away the life of the child who is about to be born. If you dont believe that then you have NO compassion for a living human being.
cheyenne86 1 year ago 2
@cheyenne86 oh but we do have a right to take away the life of the women. During the Bush administration thousands of women died because of his supposed "pro-life" stance and refusal to fund clinics in the third world where women have no choice whether her husband or anyone else impregnates her. So don't tell me she should have kept her legs together.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia Pregnancy is not easy, but love is when you are concerned for safety and life of someone else other than yourself. Most mother's if they love their children would do that. I thank God I live in the U.S, because I would have died if I were in a third world country, and so would my daughter. But like most good mothers, I would have put her first. As a pastor once said "It is against the law to murder, but that law has to step aside when it comes to women's choices" Abortion is whatitis
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim Nobel sentiments, but also narrow perspective. Sometimes putting your unborn first means setting aside the needs of your born children. Also, while self-sacrifice can be noble, if you don't attend to your own needs, you really have nothing to give. Your world must be very shielded from the havoc in our world today if you don't understand this.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia And what are you teaching your already born child by aborting their brother or sister? That life is meaningless right. I'm sorry but you are teaching them that they have a right to kill if they don't like someone or if someone is an inconvenience in their lives. Plus that, your not putting their needs first. If your putting their needs first you would also be teaching them right from wrong too.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim I would not discuss it with them until they are capable of complex reasoning. But then I would say that each child should be nurtured in a way that enables them to realize God and, I believe, you should not allow an embryo or fetus to develop to a point of becoming aware of itself and its life if you cannot be assured that you can nurture.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia I think that's great. Children need to be nurtured and they need to have faith in God, but abortion is still wrong. An embryo is still a life. That's still their brother or sister. My mom gave me that news when I was 15 that she had an abortion. I was understanding, but it still made me think that was my brother or sister and later she even told me that she wished she gave birth to that baby.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim I dropped out of computer programming in 1968. I was top of the class and teacher was impressed with how innovative I was. I wonder what my life would have been like if I had not dropped out. I can dwell on that and think about it, but it's my choice whether to get into regret. Same with considering your brother or sister. It's all in your head. You never really had any relationship with that fetus. You say abortion is wrong, I say in many cases it's right.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia The Bible says MURDER is never right, for any reason.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago 2
@LovedbcHim Except there are many places in the Bible that say advocate killing for being gay, for working on the Sabbath, for not being virgin on wedding night, for cursing parents, for fortune telling. Murder is the UNLAWFUL killing of a human being. The Bible never condemns abortion.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia That was more like the law of Moses. The Isrealites weren't living for God during those times. They were worshipping other Gods and giving themselves up for idolatry and adultery. God designed this world to be a sinless world without death. But we as human beings chose sin. "Murders is the unlawful killing of a human being" Abortion murders a human being.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago 2
@LovedbcHim You obviously have a different interpretation of the Bible than I do. And I have the sense I'm not going to change you're mind, because you are obviously indoctrinated. So....
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia look who's indoctrinated. I was indoctrinated like you in the same manner as you are, but I started asking questions when I reached my twenties. Everyone really is indoctrinated in one way or the other, the real question is, do you have the flexibility of mind to question and look outside that indoctrination.
bashia 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim abortion isn't murder. Murder is the illegal killing of a human being and until it's illegal, it's not murder. Jesus never mentioned murder, but talked constantly of helping the poor and tolerance for those we usually don't tolerate. Research shows that all societal ills are due to inequality in society--just as Jesus taught. Help women have economic success and you'll prevent many abortions. Create a society that supports children and mothers.
bashia 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim you say it's wrong and that's your judgement, it is not mine. You can quote misplaced Bible passages all you want, but the fact is this is a secular country. None of us really knows if there is a higher power or, if there is, what that higher power thinks about abortion--as much as you may insist you do. Actually based on nature's actions, I'd say it's OK. Nature commits more abortions naturally every day than we do. So keep your laws off my uterus.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia By the time an embryo is 8 or 9 weeks that's when they usually start to feel pain. I mean their nervous system starts developing around that time, and like any other person, they can sense when something different is happening. They may not be able to comprehend. Abortion by the way, actually ruins a woman's life. It's a choice that a woman lives with for the rest of her life.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago 2
@LovedbcHim this is simply not born out by research--pain that is. Abortion usually only ruins a woman's life when she begins to feel guilty about her decision because of BS impressed upon her by pro-lifers and Bible thumpers
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia the problem is that you have a different view of the universe than I. You see death as unnatural and to be avoided at all costs in every instance. We naturally don't want our lives taken from us and we shouldn't have to worry about that whether or not we are temporarily unconscious or not. But an embryo could care less whether it lives or dies and has the potential to destroy the life of the woman carrying it.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia I believe your perspective is the narrow one, because you do not recognize the human misery that is involved when women are saddled with too many babies in a society that does not support them. I'm talking about the misery for her and the misery for the children she already has. Millions of children go to bed hungry and otherwise unnourished. If you want to prevent abortion, participate in creating a society where women feel economically capable of maintaining their pregnancies.
bashia 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim we murder all the time. The question to debate and consider is why do we sanctify human life and what exactly does that mean. My answer to that is that we are societal beings with a consciousness that can consider what will happen to us if our neighbors are allowed to murder us. We need to organize our societies in such a way that we all feel safe and able to self-actualize or realize God.
bashia 1 year ago

bashia 1 year ago
@bashia Yet a born child cannot protect itself. Like an unborn child they are dependant on other people. Sanctity of life is meant to protect those who cannot protect themselves, that includes elderly, special needs and unborn children. What about those children who could've actually helped society do a better job at protecting our nation? They existed, but think about it. Their life was taken before society even got to meet them.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim I have a different understanding of Sanctifying life. Sanctify means "to keep it holy". I believe that it means to care for human life. We all need caring for so that we don't suffer and are capable of love. It doesn't always mean just to keep it alive. In some instances it may be more merciful to let it go back to it's essence. The woman's life is also deserving of sanctity, as much as you may wish to ignore that.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia I have been pregnant, and yes my life has actually been threatened by the pregnancy because I developed an infection, but I was also 27 weeks and 5 days pregnant when it occured, so they were able to save both the baby and me. If I were to tell them to abort her because I knew she would be suffering being premature, which she did suffer a lot, but that would be very selfish of me. It would'nt be merciful. Now I have a healthy 1 year old daughter whom I love very much.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim I'm glad for you, but not everyone has your exact same circumstance and if you can't see that, if you can't understand that some women might be in a much more dire circumstance. You obviously had medical care and many women don't have access to medical care. Millions of children are going to bed hungry in this country alone. Please wake up to the fact that not everyone lives the protected life that you have.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia I certainly don't live the protected life. There were times when my husband I didn't know where we would live. But God is a provider.........I'm not saying that those who are starving don't have enough faith, because difficult times happen in life. I know there are women who have had a pregnancy removed because of health problems, and the baby was so early and the doctors and mother tried hard to wait it out but couldn't, but at least they got to say goodbye, un-like with abortion
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@bashia I would never ever take any of my children's lives because of starvation. Do I want my kids to suffer? Never..........I would rather send them on a train to heaven to be with Jesus. But God called us to be their parents, despite, whether it's their maternal parents or if we choose to raise them on our own. I do believe those babies are in the arms of Jesus, but I don't believe it is ever o.k to terminate a pregnancy.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@bashia Some people abort their babies because they are handicapped, but what they don't realize is they could really learn a lot from those handicapped children and those children really do not suffer like some people think. They don't see what they go through as suffering unless the adult points it out to them and feels sorry for them, but if they are being raised in a loving home, they can live a life just as happy as any other child. And by the way, I do care about women.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@bashia Psalm 139. There are many verses in the bible proclaiming that God knew us, loved and created us while we were not even born yet. He sets a plan together for each one of us. This is something that we do not need to be taking into our own hands. And you had made a comment a while ago about setting your already child's needs aside. That's not true. And planned parenthood sometimes over exagerates things. They don't mention that a mother does not have to go fullterm.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim I believe an aborted fetus goes back to its essence. I believe that is it better to abort an infant you feel unable to care for than to bring it into a life in which you may not be able to provide for it's needs. Millions of children go hungry in this country. BTW Murder is the unlawful killing of a human being so abortion isn't murder. I would put my children first by aborting another fetus I cannot care for before that fetus is self-aware enough to own it's life.
bashia 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim and if you had four children already, which one would you put first if they were all starving to death. I say the oldest, because that child is more aware of itself, more likely to survive, more attached to its life. A baby is not the least afraid of death, so if I had to choose I'd let the baby go gently into that good night rather than the child. I know instinct says otherwise, because we have a strong instinct to protect babies, but God gave us intellect.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia People do try to put it all on the females. Why don't they talk to the males about having respect for themselves and females? All they talk about is how a FEMALE should protect herself, but what do they tell the MALE? The female must make all these sacrifices... how she dresses, talks, walks, looks, smells, and other crap, but nothing is said to the male. That itself, you can say is sexism. Both should be responsible for themselves and have respect for each other and themselves.
ShatteredDreamsv23g5 1 year ago
@cheyenne86 and you my dear have very little insight and, without questioning are accepting the lies of the pro-life movement. It is not a child about to be born. The only full term abortions happen explicitly to save the life of the mother. It is most often an embryo with conscious intent who could care less whether it lives or dies.
bashia 1 year ago
@cheyenne86 there is a natural instinct or inclination to protect cute little babies. Without that, I'm sure the human species would not have survived, because, quite frankly, those adorable little things can be quite troublesome. But to project that instinct onto an embryo is insanity. Remember, mother nature performs abortions all the time.
bashia 1 year ago

Take your experiences and help others.
andada3 1 year ago
@ryddelwearsahat I'm so sorry that you were not nurtured as you deserved to be. But I'm glad you're expressing this perspective because it's true for millions of unwanted, uncared for children. I was uncared for and suffered tremendously and only after years of suffering and wishing I had the courage to kill myself, have I finally come to a place where life is tolerable. But if I had the choice, I wouldn't have lived it.
bashia 1 year ago
@ryddelwearsahat So sorry that happened to you, but your mother's choice to give you life has NOTHING to do with keeping you. All it takes is contacting an agency specializing in closed adoptions and believe me, they would have made all arrangements to get your mom out of state -- if she were 16 or older at the time -- to have you adopted.
BillyBobKumar 1 year ago
@BillyBobKumar Uhm, it has everything to do w/ what her choices were- b/c she didn't have any. IF seemone has the right to force a woman, through threat of battery, homelessness, even death, to keep an unwanted pregnancy, then NOTHING stops them from extending that pressure and abuse to keeping the born child.. Force is force, slavery is slavery, and abuse is abuse, and it all comes from somewhere, and certain things increase the potential dramatically- forced motherhood is one of them.
ryddelwearsahat 1 year ago
@ryddelwearsahat Forgive me, but you must either be very young or from another country, as your argument simply has no legal merit: It was a Supreme Court decision that allowed for abortion at will in the 1st place. LEGALLY the laws concerning abortion are inconsistent, and will someday need to be amended. Having a baby and keeping it are two entirely different things -- all she had to do was give the baby up. I stand by my answer...and my points are valid.
BillyBobKumar 1 year ago
@BillyBobKumar Tell me why forced adoption, charity, organ/blood doning are illegal. Tell me why slavery is unconstitutional, please. =) Do'nt try to defend or argue about why it is or is not valid in abortion debate- just tell me why these things are all illegal, immoral, and unconstitutional.
ryddelwearsahat 1 year ago
@ryddelwearsahat People go through a lot. I can't imagine what other people go through, so it's hard for me to relate to them. But I do know of people who have been through so much pain in their life and yet they manage to get by and help others who are in the same situations as them. I also know that people have different levels of tolerance. some can handle things that others can't. I just hope that people would have respect for themselves and for each other. that'll help improve the world.

When't the last time you've seen our countries military actions establish a democracy. Our government almost always supports dictatorships. Check it out--it's true. Dictators are easier to manipulate and buy off.

Feminists are the worst racists and gender biased criminals on the face of this earth
angelshoulders 1 year ago
@angelshoulders What does this have to do with our argument? You evade again because you cannot seem to counter my points. I am not Margaret Sanger. I have not even mentioned feminism. But now that you do, you are like the Muslim haters that assume because a few are terrorists all 2 billion are bad. Would you go back to the days when women were mere property of their husbands and fathers? Maybe you are too young to remember what it was like before the feminist movement.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia I would not like go back to the days when women were considered mere property by they husbands & fathers. But I would love to go back to a time when a mother did not consider her children as property!! When a mother can consider her unbrn living human baby a 'glob of cells', rather then what he/she really is, a living human being in womb, when a mother can consider her living unborn human baby a 'part of her own body' and not a completely individual living human being, DELUSIONAL!

@angelshoulders our world views differ to the degree that I don't think you'll ever be able to understand me. ABORTION DOESNT MAKE ONE UN-PREGNANT. IT MAKES ONE A MOTHER OF DEAD CHILD. we can argue anyway we like but this is a fact and this is the truth. IT'S NOT A CHOICE. IT'S A BABY.
tsabadodo 2 years ago
if a woman who wanted her baby miscarries do you tell her she is still a mother but insteaed a mother of a "dead" child? no you wouldn't. you would console her and encourage her to try again for a baby. mothers, by definition have children that are BORN. pregnant women are mothers to be; potential mothers.
dragonpat666 2 years ago
pregnant women are MOTHERS to be. u said it so yourself.. such women who miscarried, the kind that u mentioned, acknowledged the fact that they are mothers of dead children... thats why they need our support, our consolation, our encouragement. this is the reason why im against abortion. a baby is a gift that some of us may never have but others chose to carelessly disregard.
tsabadodo 2 years ago
Most miscarriages happen naturally w/o the awareness of the woman. They are extremely frequent events. When aware of them many women are relieved they miscarried. Stillborns have more of an emotional impact, but happen later in pregnancy. "Others chosing to disregard" is such a judgemental, blame the victim statement in a society that refuses to economically support women and their children. 50% of children in the U.S. are living in poverty.
bashia 2 years ago 2
motherhood starts at conception. once u conceived, good mothers will nurture that baby in their womb. a mother by definition is a woman who conceives, gives birth to, or raises and nurtures a child; a female parent of an animal; a female ancestor. other definitions: A female person who is pregnant with or gives birth to a child; female person whose egg unites with a sperm, resulting in the conception of a child; a woman who adopts a child; a woman who raises a child.
tsabadodo 2 years ago
@tsabadodo In my mind a mother is someone who nurtures a child and many women don't do that today because they are too busy and stressed with their jobs. We have created a society that does not support children and it is a crime to bring an unconscious being into this society unless you are willing to sacrifice to support it. Most people don't have a clue to the developmental needs of their children
bashia 1 year ago
@tsabadodo It may be said that a mother is someone who mothers. Many women give birth to children and do not mother them. Some women don't even know the children they gave birth to. You're using semantics that do not give any weight to your argument.
bashia 1 year ago
i dont condemn those who committed abortion. they need our understanding , our support, our forgiveness, because these are things that we cannot give to our own selves. these videos, i believe, are not made to condemn them, but to let them see the wrongness of the act. hopefully, acceptance will come to them and then they can start forgiving themselves... these are also meant to those who are thinking of abortion. as we learn from history and our own lives, another wrong wont make a wrong right

MyrtleMessmer 1 year ago
Nothing is more heartbreaking than having a baby you are economically or psychologically unable to care for.
An embryo or fetus is NOT a child or a baby. Most abortions occur when the embryo is the size of a lentil. While a fetus has the structures of the brain, the dendrites that enable the neurons to fire don't develop until later in the 7th & 8th month. Therefore, the neurons of the frontal lobe are not firing and that fetus is not yet capable of human consciousness.
bashia 2 years ago 12
@bashia Actually upon conception, a 'child's' own DNA is formed, by the 4th week, the heartbeat can be detected, a 7-8 week embryo is about half an inch, not the size of a lentil bean. By 7-8 weeks, each 'child' already has their own fingerprints and footprints, their brain is starting to form and by 12 weeks brain activity can be detected and all the organs are in place. And by the way, my daughter was born when I was 6 months pregnant with her. She is alive and healthy with brain waves
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
oh yes, but what kind of brain activity? Just because brain activity is detected does not mean there is any meaningful consciousness or self-awareness. I'm glad your daughter survived because apparently you wanted her, but fact is at 6 months a fetus could care less whether it lives or dies. It has no attachment to life or self awareness.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia They may not have self awareness and they may not undestand that they are living beings who are meant to live, but by instinct they do fight for their own lives. You should walk in a NICU sometime. If any human being has a lot of fight it is a preemie. That is even the ones who don't make it, you still see them fighting to hang in there. And these little ones feel double the amount of pain as any adult, which means a fetus feels that pain too.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim all life struggles for survival. So your statement implies nothing really. Also, apparently scientists have found that babies in the womb are under a sedative effect from chemicals secreted by the placenta. And exactly how do you know they feel double the pain? How do you know that. We are taught not to scream when we feel pain, but that may only mean we feel it more since screaming tends to help obliterate the pain. So a screaming premie doesn't necessarily feel 2x the pain
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia That is not true at all! Do you think babies who are born months premature can't feel? Oh, and by the way infants cry in the womb, its been proven. If you are going to try and sound smart, get your human biology straight first. Maybe you are young? The frontal lobe which affects your reasoning does not finish developing until your early twenties.
andada3 1 year ago
@andada3 scientists are saying that fetuses and embryos are under a heavy sedative effect while in the womb. Also, the pain that is experienced during an abortion is over in a matter of seconds and I guarantee that if that fetus is born it will experience much more pain during it's life.
bashia 1 year ago
@andada3 how do you cry in water? more prolife dribble.
dragonpat666 1 year ago
@dragonpat666 So if you are underwater and someone stabs you, you're not going to scream or feel it? LOL. And I was just stating a fact. I never argued prolife.
andada3 1 year ago
@dragonpat666 And just for your correction. A baby is not in water, it is in amniotic fluid.
andada3 1 year ago
@dragonpat666 It's true. Some ultra-sounds have shown babies producing tears while in the womb. I can assure you if the mother is feeling pain, the baby is feeling it too.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim well, just about anything is possible. don't know what this has to do with the pro and con argument.
dragonpat666 1 year ago
@dragonpat666 The con is that the baby feels pain. It's possible for an unborn child to feel growing pains too, because they are growing a lot while in the womb. The pro is that with showing an ultra-sound the mom usually changes her mind about terminating the pregnancy. Yes, a baby feels pain when they are being aborted. Probably a tremendous amount.
LovedbcHim 1 year ago
@LovedbcHim i understand being compassionate to the pain the unborn may feel while being aborted. this "pain" does not register until, according to science, after about 3 months. bottom line, the decision to abort must stay in the hands of the woman carrying. if a woman changes her mind about abortion after viewing an ultrasound then maybe she did not really want one to began with. who is against showing a woman an ultrasound before performing an abortion?
dragonpat666 1 year ago
@bashia Medical Research has shown that when an 8 week old human foetus is pricked in the palm of his hand by a needle, he opens his mouth and pulls his hand away. There is also an increase in heart rate.
These findings strongly suggest that the 8 week old foetus can feel pain (Volman & Pearson, "What the Fetus Feels," British Med. Journal, Jan. 26, 1980, pp. 233-234). Killing a living unborn human being is killing. Whether the baby can feel pain or not is irrelevant. It is still killing
angelshoulders 1 year ago
@bashia By your thought, should we not also kill the poor, the depressed, the children starving in Africa,or anyone else who suffers? After all,in OUR estimation their lives are not worth living,it's just too painful for them.Oh,they disagree?Well, they just aren't smart enough to know what's good for them! so shut down the soup kitchens and the humanitarian aid! let us take up arms and seek the suffering of the world, that we may release them from their valueless lives in a hale of gunfire!
angelshoulders 1 year ago
@angelshoulders 1 we're already killing them. 2. I don't believe in taking anyone's life who already owns it--which includes those who are temporarily unconscious for one reason or another. I think you are so self-righteous you are just desperately grabbing for straws to throw at my argument, no matter how ridiculous.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia "Because of the present limits of such detection methods, most birth defects are not discovered until birth. "If a child were not declared alive until three days after birth, then all parents could be allowed the choice . . . the doctor could allow the child to die, if the parents so choose, and save a lot of misery and suffering." @bashia Do you believe the new "ethic" should be that we kill the suffering or burdensome? Some of these cases are tragic, some are also inspirational. We cannot assume the responsibility for killing an unborn child simply because the child has not yet been seen in public. The child's place of residence does not change what abortion does - kill a human being.
angelshoulders 1 year ago
@angelshoulders Nope that's not what I believe. If someone is conscious of their lives or temporarily unconscious--they own it and we should not be stealing it from them.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia You are correct that some mother's do miscarry, which is a 'natural' occurance, there is nothing natural about an abortionist forcibly entering a mother's womb with the cold hard steel tools of the trade, with the sole intention of dismembering, tearing, ripping & suctioning out the new life that she herself helped to create. VAST difference between a miscarraige & forced abortion. You are taking a life that has never had the opportunity to live outside the womb & legally murdering

Is one living in another country worth more then one in your country?Meat inspector!
angelshoulders 1 year ago
@angelshoulders You exaggerate and evade to argue your side, which may mean you have no real argument. Yes an unborn embryo is less human that a person with special needs. An embryo does not even differentiate itself from the cells in the womb that surround it, it has no hopes, no dreams no concern whether it lives or dies. A person with special needs does and may also have relationships with people who loves her.

@bashia There you go again, like the USDA, grading pieces of meat! Do you have no respect for life whatsoever. Whether that child is sentient is irrelevant. So...a fetus isn't a "real" baby unless a woman wants it or is willing to sue on its behalf?

anipussirhc 3 years ago 2

It's a baby after it's born.
bashia 1 year ago
@bashia Forgive me, but you're obviously too young to read. Lood at your statement above and tell me you didn't write your last sentence to read "And no, in fact, a fetus is NOT a baby". You wrote it, so try to be an adult and stand corrected.
BillyBobKumar 1 year ago
@BillyBobKumar I was not referring to a fetus. I was referring to a woman's right to have a baby. Try to look at it this way. If a doctor, during an operation, through negligence, destroys a woman's uterus or eggs, she should have the right to sue because she no longer has the ability to conceive or carry a child. In the same way, if a doctor kills her fetus, against her will, he is killing her expectations and right to impending motherhood.
bashia 1 year ago

BillyBobKumar 1 year ago
@BillyBobKumar My argument has NOTHING to do with the personhood of the fetus. It has to do with a woman's right to have a child if she chooses.

ABORTION:
This is killing a baby in the mothers womb. There is absolutely no excuse for this, and this can never be forgiven, neither in this life nor in the next.
Abortion is a low and cowardly act and attacks against:
-Eternal law: manipulating Gods plans
-Natural law: which requires us to take care of and not to kill innocent beings
-Human law: life is a right which exceeds a personal whim

Abortion most certainly CAN be forgiven!!
Babies aren't the only victims... the mothers are as well. Victims of a bloody governmental law that tells women it is a GOOD thing to do!!
cookiemama4 3 years ago
i think i agree, alot of the mothers regrets doing it
stevienickslover 2 years ago
@stevienickslover I know many women who have never regretted doing it. And I'm willing to bet that many of those that do eventually regret, do so because they are influenced by misinformation from the pro-life movement and end up feeling guilty when they shouldn't. And regret is something you choose to do.
bashia 1 year ago
@cookiemama4 The law does not tell women it's a good thing to do. It just gives them the right to chose for themselves.
bashia 1 year ago

1j0se4 3 years ago
Actually it is also wrong to abort a baby when the women is raped. Its still her child because it is growing inside of her. She can give it up for adoption. Nine months is worth sacrificing for another human being's life. God still created and and loves that baby just like any other. He is against all abortion no matter what the circumstance is. He didnt say "Do not Murder but in this circumstance, you can". No. He said "Do not Murder" period.
marissa0782 3 years ago
@marissa0782 abortion is not murder. Murder is the unlawful taking of life. There is NOTHING in the Bible that condemns abortion. You can insist that the Bible implies that, but, fact is, the Bible never mentions it.
bashia 1 year ago

CANDYBESOS87 3 years ago
Just because something is a choice, it doesnt make it right. And yes, abortion is the killing of an innocent human being that God created. He is against it and says its murder!!!!!!!!!!!
marissa0782 3 years ago
"god" don't create babies, humans do!! people kill me blaming everything on some "god" have you ever met "god"? spoke to him/her? then how the hell you know what "god" is against?
dragonpat666 2 years ago
You feel it. He tells you, if you really wish to know. God created humans, and created the means for babies to be created. And people including myself have met God, yes. Even with the fact that God is strongly opposed to abortion, there are many logical and scientific facts that point to the reason that abortion is wrong.
