  • That dude sounds like Jisoe.

  • I FEEL so bad because He WANTS to be a great dad!

  • Hey do you possibly know the date this aired on TV?

  • In the scope of things, compared to most parents that I've personally encountered working in retail, as a substitute teacher and just from living in the Northeast USA, this man does not deserve to lose his children because of his size. It is clearly obvious that he's struggling with this issue, and that he would want nothing more than to be an even better father to his kids. God bless him for that at the very least. How many of you could say the same? Honestly?

  • poor guy

  • ...and one more thing why is it so universally automatic for people to make fun of overweight people and feel they have the right. Is it a way for people to feel more successful by pointing out someone else's struggles. Don't people realise that in many cases obesity has resulted from emotional eating...sometimes exacerbated from already being hefty? How is that laughable. Shame on you shallow people how do!!

  • ..ok rewatched the video he already has a carer...not defending the decision but maybe the authorities wonder WHY he gained the weight to begin with and is unable to lose it (emotional problems?) and feel that until they are able to ascertain whether that is the case and if so whether it impedded on the kids life drastically enough felt the child was safer away through time apart.

But yes I wish the guy all the luck he needs with his health and his battle. God speed dude and good luck!

  • IVF? Is that really the questions that stands out the most.....

He COULD be a better parent but there are LOT worse physically fits parents out there. He sounds pro-active in that he tries to give her daughter an active life; fishing, camping.

If his parents help is not enough you'd think he'd be able to negotiate a carer, at least until he gets serious intervention for his weight loss and is able to care for his daughter by himself-even if he has to pay the cost once he is fit
