I was so sad when I moved out west to Alberta...nobody here has ever heard of Labatts 50, unless they're transplanted easterners like myself :) I did manage to find two liquor/beer stores in Calgary (out of like 1,000) that actually sell the stuff by the dozen/bottles. For me it's the only Canadian beer even worth drinking. I'd probably quit if I couldn't find it. Never did like that Alberta piss they call 'Big Rock'...

happy new yr. A windy super cold snow storm is heading our way and we had a similar storm almostb a week ago. Rain took the snow away and now its coming back. Never had 50 b4 cus it usally only sold by 12oz bottles in a case for alot of cash here so fuck that but last yr cans started coming around. In parents town liquor store is small so not a good beer selection usally sometimes is so grabe a can cus its an ale and I never had it b4 cheer's.

@StunGun420 the 1st 40 I ever had in life was 7% colt 45 and hey dont make colt 45 at 7% anymore discontinued/retired colt 45 version as of April 2011. cheer's. P.S.Other colt 45's are still made.

In Canada we call Labatte 50 "Cenq-on" which sounds like "senk-On" with very light stress on the n. Thats how you say 50 in French.
