  • some crazy guy in the toilets. :SS scaryyyy

  • Absolutely great, I loved it. Looks like it was made in the 80s. Especially the phone you used and all the details you used to make it look like that. Nice work(:

  • It looks like it it was made in the 80's but I still like it.

  • It took me a minute to realize this was intentionally set up to look like something out of 1982. Great work!

  • I peed myself at 4:30 LOOOL

  • all around a pretty well crafted short, but one mistake i'd say is using the halloween music, should of just used all original music

  • When was this made? It has a really cool '70s/'80s feel to it.

  • @ILikeToDissectGirls Since the girl was using a cellphone I would guess late '90s

    or the 2000's.

  • Awesome! I bet you got inspiration by watiching Michael Myers Halloween!

  • Way to rip off Halloween....haha. But nah it was alright. It was well put together. It kept my attention and the girl was funny with the whole "I'M NOT SMOKING" and then blowing the smoke into the phone. But I have to agree, she NEEDED more fear in her face but decent for a horror movie. It really felt like classic John Carpenter. Just needed the better acting from the girl. Kudos.

  • finally a girl got smarter and didn't scream so the killer knows exactly where you are the entire time

  • what music is this?

  • dude...i will never use the school bathrooms ever again

  • wow.. i jumped!!!!!!! but.. the gal.. needs some work! show fear..

  • pretty scary, there were some great creepy moments and some spooky atmosphere. nice

  • Your actress looks like she is out for a careless jog rather than getting chased by some creep with a knife. At least look scared.

    Decent photography, good soundtrack.

  • omg, you deserve a frickin GRAMMY! thats was A-MAZ-INGGGGGG your so totally subbed! i'm telling ALL my friends about youuuuuu =D

  • nice work,!!!

  • That was really good!

  • Dude, this scared me. Also, this movies got some style where it counts. Very very cool that you did it in a night.

  • Nice job--very interesting

  • I had no idea Monica Lewinsky did films before her internship at the White House

  • Great little film, just a pity that the girl never looked the slightest bit scared?

  • Great film. Great.

  • with this old video picture u have got... so an special feeling of that...it looks better as a one with new video picture

  • holy that was good evin when its got old video picture

  • good up until 4:30......wasn't really scary, she should have gone back into the bathrooms to "LOCK THE DOOR" and then find out "HE"S IN THE SAME ROOM and grabs her and pulls her into one of the ST?ALS? ..... lol well good video =) 5 star =)

  • Great short horror movie. Could have a bit more of a twist but does this kind of thing need it? And what of the sound? It fits perfectly lol, did you record it yourself on a keyboard or what? 5 star :p

  • pretty good in one night ;)

  • Not bad indded good angles good timing. I was'nt convinced oh your actress's fear level, she looked more like she was going to miss the bus instead of beiing chased by a killer. the ending does not suit the film

(The juice is not worth the squeeze)

    Overall a good short

  • where's the music from?? really good :)

  • The end sucked...the editing, the shots, and the music were good tho...

  • good ...

    could have been better !

  • OMG when watching this the music builds it up and i was crapping myself. The girl could react a bit more but very good! well done!

  • that was kinda cool

  • around places such as 4:24 the editing could have been better--the camera lingers a bit too long on the stomach before going out the back--but I like the 80s-like style it's in.

  • I'm sure that the fat chick could kick the guy's ass.

  • creepy......

  • Wow pretty good! I have to say, the girl could have acted a little more scared!

  • Nicely done! The girl could do with looking a bit more scared though and would a scream or two hurt? Come on girl let it all out! Well done guys!

  • dang you guys are good movie makers..... nicely done!!!

  • not bad. editing could have been better, but not bad.

  • whoah! NICE NIEC O_o NICE MUSIC NICE I REALLY LIKE IT KUDOS KUDOS 5 STARS!

  • VERY NIICCEEE!!!.5 star!!!!

  • Not gonna lie it looks like a old 1988 horror flick , good work.

  • 100th rating!

  • the girl doesnt act too good, but i really like it, if u make this just for fun, i cant imagine how would be a serious work of you, i really enjoyed it and i also scared the shit out of me when the guy grab the girl because i have all the volume up in my computer, anyway, nice work.

  • The girl doesnt know how to act! If Some guy out of middle of no where try to grab me...I WOULD ACT SCARED, SHE DIDNT! SHE HAD A STRAIGHT FACE AND RUNNING

  • Cool shots!

  • very well done.

  • really good filming

  • nice use of the Halloween music.

  • its like that thrill one..

  • Anyone who can use a mirror, and use it well deserves props. They scare the crap out of me. Great job.

  • great camerawork great atmosphere great movie but the only thing that let it down was the girl. We needed to believe she was being chased by a killer but it looked like she was going for a jog. She needed to run faster, drop the bag and look scared.

  • Great camera work decent build up actualy a realy good score(noticed how you used scores' from other films ingenius/much appreciated)but damn that actress realy killed the tempo mostly in last minute were shes running, you use good tempo between the switch in scenes/low angle of the killers feet/and sound score but I dont think there was enough intensity in her perfromnace. But for a nights performance to kill time and some expensive Film:)still very interesting You Had my attention for 5min!!

  • It was very good camera work but why take all that time to do an original movie and steal all the music , you should have had someone make some original music or make it yourself.

  • that wasnt scary but it was okay

  • dont smoke dumb fuck

  • FINE!5 stars it is XD

  • Very nice.Good how the attacker was walking slow and taking his time while the girl was running fast.Like as if you are really something paranormal. 4 1/2 stars since the girl seemed like she was O.K with getting killed. If you pause at when she is near the stairs, you can see that she looks like she can handle him when she really can't.Other then that, very good show.Try to make more!

  • 4 1/2 stars ? how u do that?

  • i kind of like how she wasnt all screaming and being a typical "stupid girl being attacked" during the scene while she was running away, she seemed more like she had a head on her shoulders and new that she just needed to get away as fast as she could.

one of my fav low budget films on youtube.

  • that was actually pretty good. most horror films on youtube suck and i actually watched this one all the way through

  • good movie......next time have more energy and fear on the face while running away! :)

  • Good use of camera. The movie was atmospheric. Not convincing expression of the girl in the final scene (chase). Bad idea to use music from another movie, especially when this is the classic Haloween, this is killing every chance of the film to be sth original. Keep walking...

  • That was awesome.

    Gave me the chills. :)

  • omg that arm made me jump lol. when the girl got grabbed she should of screamed or something. coz she has no expression on her face... shes just running

  • Nice job.

  • This is some excellent editing!

  • I agree with the person below me. The film itself was excellent in every aspect except the actress. She wasn't very convincing and so as a viewer I was not as drawn in to the tension of the chase scene as I should have been. Other than that it was wonderful. The camera work, angles and shots were very professional.

  • i liked how the film was shot..i loved the style of the movie..it gives it like the old horror movie look...the music was fantastic...very suspenseful...i like James Newton Howard's music from "Stir of Echoes"...but i thought the girl could have done a better job of acting...it didn't seem like she was scared when she was running...i don't know.. maybe its because some of the scenes were missing...Overall i thought it was good for having missing scenes...Good Luck with ur future..u have talent

  • old style american horror!

  • that was great in all but its basically a copy off of halloween. and if im not mistaken thats also the music from Halloween.

  • well that's basically what i was going for. a john carpenter style horror flick. no blood or mtv editing. so of course i had to throw a little halloween music in there.

  • where did you get the background music?

    loved it btw =]

  • i used music from a few movies. halloween, obviously. also used music from stir of echoes.

  • awsome thanks

  • profesonal slasher ! atmoshere of this movie is scary !

  • It has a bit of a professional qualtiy. Great camera work!! The lead's acting was great [until she started running away from the guy.... she didn't look afraid]. Overall, it was pretty good. [and sorry about your loss of footage - i'm sure that might explain a few things...]

  • Oh it's awesome! I like it. Professionally made.

  • lol.. that wasnt funny, it was scary

  • This looks like it was made in the 80s

  • thanks :)

that's exactly what i was goin for.

  • fuckin great! kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time

    :]

  • The bathroom scene, the part when she goes down the stairs and the chase were too silent, I would suggest more sound effects, they would've made it much more interesting (and a little more volume to her dialogue)

    Apart from that, excellent!! =D

  • sweet

  • That was pretty cool.

  • VERY GOOD camera adn a good little flim! keep them coming.

  • Nice video! Very well paced.

  • that was awesome

    when was this made? (month/year?)

what kind of camera was used? It has and old, The Shining type look to the video. Any certain effect you applied to the entire video for that or was it just the camera?

  • brilliant!

  • Really nice camera work. :)

I enjoy Carpenter's scores too. Nice minimal stuff that cuts to the emotional point without a lot of over orchestration getting in the way. I do my own horror music and it's always Carpenter that inspires me when I sit down to create it.

  • this was actually a bit scary but she should have tried to look scared when running away but was rlly good!

    x

  • lol Halloween music.

  • haha, yeah....everyone notices the Halloween music, but no one ever knows what the other music is from. I had to throw the music in last minute....and Carpenter rules....so some of his music HAD to be in there. And the movie was made back in '03

  • Carpenter is a genius

    plus i love the music

    :D

    so it's all cool

    ;D

  • Try to pick less-known music for the score next time. The Carpenter music was distracting.

  • How long ago did you make this movie

  • Good job! Keep up the good work! Check out my horror movie "Fear the Cell" from Sweden!

  • One thing though. She should have screamed. When she goes down the staircase and they grab her. She should have screamed.

  • So the world has not forgotten! I have been terrified (even more then your film scared me) by the looming thought that the world had forgotten what a horror movie really is. Its not the guts, that doesn't scare me. Its just disgusting. Its the shadow on the edge of the camera. That silence that has you peaking over your shoulder. Thank you, the world may yet have hope.

  • did the guy try and cut her ankle

  • how'd u do the old looking film trick there i'd like to know lol but man i though itwas really good though!

  • its cool how you choreograph the editing and movements with the music, i've noticed alot of editors unable to do this technique. And the old film stock gave it a very classic horror touch. good as!!!

  • Bravo! Bravisima! thumbs up!

  • i hate u.

    im gunna have nightmares

    fuck u LOL

  • this was cool you made me jump! oh god you actually had me peeking over my shoulder the whole time!

  • that was really good, where did u get the soundtrack for your film? please reply its hard to find music for a film =/

  • I used music from Halloween, Stir of Echoes and I Know What You Did Last Summer.

  • ooh excellent... i enjoyed it a lot.

the only thing that I thought was a little off, was that the girl didnt act as scared as i hoped. like when the guy grabbed her, I was expecting a scream... oh well, still good :)

  • Well done quite scary check out my videos a film will be up soon!

  • very entertaining to watch, reminds me of when i was in high school making short horror films... nice throw back!!

  • Great camera work. Your shots were really creative.

  • lol the shape, nice vid.

  • i watched it up untill she's in those toilets

    i was to scared !

plz reply to me and tell me what happened! plz!

  • great work!

one of those old horror movie classics like halloween, nighmare on elm street and friday the 13th! loveeed it!

  • The girl looked like she was enjoying the chase...

    Still, great camera work.

  • Did the girl die???

  • i like it too

  • but well directed, good job i like it

  • cheesy as my balls in a nutracker

  • this was very impressive pretty good film! i enjoyed it!

  • you did a great job, it must be difficult to know what music to choose, huh?

  • I Had To Hide Behind A Pillow xD Good Job

  • I have to say this is impressive. A real throwback to those eighties slasher flicks that I love so much. I can't condone the Halloween music but the rest is awesome. Unlike most modern horror, this one doesn't look like digital music video. Fantastic.

  • Very Cool ;)

  • WOW..!! I like the camera work... good job..!!

  • cool cool flick!!!! I like it alot...

  • this is a great movie, i enjoyed it.

  • Not bad. could make a very scarey horror film.

  • WHHHYY, JENNIFER? Sorry, inside joke. ^^;

It's so simple, yet so effective. I loved the bathroom part, I actually wasn't expecting it.

I'm shooting a horror flick myself, but it's stupid and complicated. It's the people like you that I look to for inspiration. ^^

  • wonderful. it's absolutely wonderful. good job.

  • dat wz great plz du a number 2 if u can so we can see wat happens to her well done u will make it big someday

  • What i find most amazing about this film Is how retro the picture quality is. It looks as if it was made in the late 70s. Sort of a John Carpenter-ish feel to it.

    I Like It!

  • Props on the Cinematography.

  • ahhhhhhh mike myers

  • The bathroom scene was shot perfectly....well done

  • I liked the Frankenstein reference in the credits (the killer being billed as '?')

  • It was good, keep it up. I hope to see more.

  • this was aswome, i see alot of halloween influance in it though LOL.."no im not somking"

  • Inspirational. Good work. I would have liked it to be a minute shorter and have a few more "close calls." But, I thought it was extremely well done.

  • La toma del baño y la de las escaleras son como las de la pelicula de "Silent Hill"

  • good work, I am also going to do a short horror film, in my school. So your film has inspired me..

  • Very good editing. I enjoyed this a lot.

  • Hey I love it. Pretty Actress, She's really great.

    Thanks!

  • wow, do you know what... it has been absolutly ages since i have seen a short film someone has made with a murderer that has made me jump... wow congratulations, youve inspired me to do the same thanx! keep doing this.. i want to see more! haha

  • That was cool but the girl looked pretty calm for the situation but good job dude

  • she is a good actress.....I hope you paid her alot! ;)

  • oh yeah, of course she made millions.

  • LOL I bet :)

No seriously though, she did good. Sweet film.

I can't wait until I see your name on the big screen, and I'll be able to say....yeah, I lived with that guy when he was just starting his whole journey! ;)

  • That chick is Hot!! Can I have her ##??

  • Awesome job I really enjoyed that the music fit perectly I was suprised how well the halloween music fit sometimes it works sometimes it does and it fit nicely in your film I love the shot of her in the bathroom I love the look and feel reminds me a lot of a 80's slasher pic I loved it!!

  • Wow, I really enjoyed that. Well done, it was very cool. I liked the old effect, how was that done?

  • it's the type of film stock I picked. I was going for that low budget 80's feel, so I didn't want to use a film stock that was bright and shiney. plus this was taken from a vhs tape. so that might have helped as well. lol

  • Haha, really cool. Well done, and I just LOVE how you used Halloween music... it's like my favourite horror movie.

  • that was realy good i like it how it looked old movieish(if thats a word) well awsume job luv the ending

  • Congratulations, this film has been featured this week on TravelingCamera.com!

  • awesome! thanks :)

  • hey i really enjoyed this. some great shots and angles. what did you use for the music??

  • thanks. i figured since most of the dialogue was cut or lost i'd make it all about the visuals. and i used music from Stir of Echoes, Halloween and I Know What You Did Last Summer.

  • Cool!

  • I really like this. :)
