from the videos I've watched, these appear to be fake. Unless he left out some of the accessories that came inside packaging. Real ones come with 2 cables. One with control talk and one without. Also, manuals should include a document with a half naked woman wearing the headphones. This is what I've seen anyways. Take it for what it is. Do your own research to avoid purchasing fakes.

@ThePurpleDrumStick it depends, if your playing really loud music on the solos then the solos cos there comfy. but if you play low to medium level sound music then i would recommend the tours as they are noise canceslling, no matter how much sound. hope this helps! :)

I just bought these a few hours ago, and so far I really like them. I know I could have gotten much better headphones, and I did look at a lot of them before buying, but I wanted to experience them for myself. The main problem I have with headphones is that the cord always gets messed up, losing sound on one side, and then I have to fiddle with the wire to make it sound right. I was very happy to find out that it comes with two pairs of wires. I like that a lot.

@alejandroxsally solo HD sounds better and the head band part takes ALOT more to break. I know many people who have owned solos and they have broken in the same place. but the HD can bend more so it lasts longer.

also the HD is better for all genres unlike the solos which are only good for bass music.

my conclusion: Solo HD are worth the extra 20-30$ when they will definitely last longer

plus it doesn't work on 2nd gen ipod touch, works on 3rd gen & 4th (coming). works with new nanos & the 2nd last gen.

Headphones such as these are designed to keep almost all the sound in the padding so that only the listener hears them. When I was wearing them on a car ride on a trip, my wife kept complaining on how loud they were and that she could hear them. Hope this info helps. Cheers!

I tried several different headphones and earbuds and these are the best for listening to music! The bass is kicking and no other headphones come close to it or the style. The only thing I don't like about the headphones are how they show your finger prints all over the place, and they pad on top lifts a little off the plastic part. Also, the control talk volume does not work on the iPhone 3G, but it does work with my iPad and iPods. So many haters out there. Try them before you hate on them.

the regular solo's didn't have that glossy looking plastic on them. they had a very soft brittle plastic. perhaps that's why these don't seem to break as easily. contemplating getting these. i had regular solos and they snapped twice before i just gave up on them.
