People talk of devil may cry, and there are similarities, but no one seems to notice that the game play mechanic is a carbon copy of Soul Reaver (especially 2 and beyond). Not just combat, but also how the puzzles work.

Darksiders has less depth in the plot and uninteresting characters, but the game play itself is solid. I'm playing it with my pc (hd tv and a pad) and it kicks ass.

it just looks a lot like danté's inferno , i see a lot of similair things

example: how he opens the door at 0:34 , the same as danté only its not a guy that you stab, but very similair.

I love this game. It has more Zeldaesque adventure elements than other games in this genre but still sports a really fun combat system where you can pretty much link attacks in any way you want. There's supposedly a sequel on the way.

I played it through on PC version and I thought you got to keep the Abyssal armor if you start a new game after last boss and credits. Did they change it for pc?

When the trailer was introduced it was acquired from the PC section along with info for PC and PC screenshots so i think its for the PC with the demo avaliable back then (2 months + ago). Also just checked to make sure and its still in PC section for release on the 24th September 2010. So yea PC gameplay :)

it will be nice to play Darksiders on PC. I initially tried the PS3 version, and the frame rate/resolution/tearing was so bad I gave up and sold it. The actual game was good though, so bring on the PC version!
