@ytgv3fc7 no i did not, the only problems were the lack of ability to call lawyers and some people not getting water for 12 hours...mostly the officers were decent inside..the only problen is the last 10 hours we were detained in smaller cages with no bathroom and no benches 6 peopl per closet sized cell...if 2 were laying down 4 had to stand..the first cage was 5 times the size for 2 people.

@halfacig add to that any reporters on the scene get their chance at being arrested too, even though they have every right to be there and to photograph, video tape and broadcast. 2 National Post photographers with G20 Media Accreditation and Security Clearance were beat down and arrested just doing their jobs, and are now suing the police.

@ytgv3fc7 no i did not, the only problems were the lack of ability to call lawyers and some people not getting water for 12 hours...mostly the officers were decent inside..the only problen is the last 10 hours we were detained in smaller cages with no bathroom and no benches 6 peopl per closet sized cell...if 2 were laying down 4 had to stand..the first cage was 5 times the size for 2 people.

You shouldn't talk like you know the story when you don't. They did a phenomenal job at fucking up a peaceful protest. If you were even at the event, you'd know that the protesters had an agreement with the police. The police instructed them and told them what they were allowed and not allowed to do, and being there was within their agreement.
I've met people who have been in that jail, and you'd be disgusted with the illegal shit that innocent people went through. Do some research.

@stavee36 those people in the jails were illegally detained and even lawyers were turned away from providing legal counsel and ALSO no one was allowed to call a lawyer, under-age detained people were not even allowed to call their parent or guardian. @MegaWolfgang not without a chance to talk to a lawyer, 48 hours or not. Actively telling any lawyers nearby the potential client has waived their right to an attorney is a crime when it's a lie - just imagine how many of those happened. The right to legal counsel can not be denied by police.
