@punknart Well, I am 5' 3" and it's a tight fit for me. My husband is about 5' 9" and a big guy and he barely fits in it. It goes pretty fast like the others. I had the Ranger Razr and sold it. I put the rims & tires from that one on the youth razr and it looks cool! My daughter doesn't drive it much because of where we live, but when she does drive it she has a blast. So if you are a smaller adult, then you could drive it ok. It doesn't have 4 wheel drive though if you want to go in the mud.
@ueckertrn Im 5'9 as well but not big. A bit thin though :p... So I probably should save some money a buy the adult ones .. Thanks for the info anyway :)
@punknart for only 800 bucks more than this kiddie toy, you could get a yamaha grizzly 350. Which, granted, it's a small quad, I'm a bigger guy and I ride a 550 and its as small as I'd ever wanna go, I'm even contemplating selling mine and buying a 700 or putting a bbk on my 550. But I started out on a 350, and they will do almost everything you'd WANT it to do, and everything that you would NEED it to do
That's actually a good idea to get a kid something like that when they're just big enough for it, this will probly last like another 7 years until they have to get a new machine for their daughter. And with a dirt bike or four wheeler you'd be getting new stuff every couple years.
does the roll bar stop your head from hitting the ground? is the roll bar soft incase you slam your head into it? how does a mouth full of steering wheel feel after slamming into a tree, because lets face it 5 year olds arent great drivers. what i am getting at is that a roll bar does not protect your head, it protects you from getting crushed under your vehicle.
Someday she going to be driving your daddy, HAHA. Nice rzrs. Thinking about trading my kfx450 in for one. But i don't think that it is worth the 13,000
it has a roll cage thus not needing a helmet. you can trust a Polaris when a roll over happen. trust me on that! i can guarantee you on that!! But a go kart is a different story. i don't know how much i trust a yerf dog!!
@Shawn95GT the cages on theses 170's are awsome ive seen them roll down rock covered hills and the cages held up but i agree with the helmets my daughter will always wear a helmet caged or not and the cages on the 800's do suck i layed the machine on its side and the caged bent over a good 45 degrees but its better then the cage on the rhino
Can they what? This is ideal for that age. I drove it all day yesterday. The only thing is it's hard to steer and my shoulders were sore. But I think a 12 year old wouldn't have any problems.... Hope this helps...
The maximum weight capacity is 150 pounds per rider or 300 pound weight limit. I ride my daughter all the time and my husband even drives her. He weighs 200 lbs but she only weighs like 40 so they still meet the weight requirements.
Hi, could a small(ish) adult and a young (4 year old) passenger ride this or would it be too overloaded? What's the maximum rider height could this accommodate? Some 12 year olds can be very big... Thank you

@jrgolfer Notice the upgraded cage on the full size Rzr. It's because the stock cage balls up like a tin can if you land on it.
Even with a 'good' cage, I'd have helmets on my kids.
