It's all about Hindu culture. It's similar but Bharata Natyam more ancient than Pendet.

Name changed, music changed & its costume. But EYE & MOVEMENT EXACTLY COPIED FROM Bharata Natyam dance. Bharata Natyam movement faster & more energy rather than Pendet movement is too slow. They altered/influenced by local culture and claimed by Indonesian as Tari Pendet.

but eye n movement u said it's copied from Bharata Natyam. But once again, the movement as u said, faster than Pendet. all of u've said already shows that Pendet has a unique n different characeristic.
except if u said that Pendet has a same music, same costume, same movement (not faster or slower), with Bharata Natyam, well u can say it is copied. i Malaysia did it. They offer a dance that has a same appearance with Pendet.
