  • Who the hell is Yoji Shikanawa???

  • @mrpoplock8 He's the lead artist and character designer for the Metal Gear Solid series.

  • @CosmicScaleFactor I believe that would be Yoji SHINkawa... ;) I was referring to your pronunciation of his name. He's a legend and I also met him at this very signing!

  • i went to uniqlo :P

  • It's Yoji Shinkawa dude. Check Flickr for some photos of the stuff I had signed.

  • the security at that hmv sucked ass, they did even let people get other stuff signed other than peace walker. tho yoji and kojima didnt mind (some people sneaked stuff past security and onto desk and got stuff signed) ....... came from birmingham so only had my day set for hmv. I should have gone to uni qlo instead.

  • I don't know about you mate, but the Security and Starr at the HMV signing were complete bastards. I was rushed on state, got my inlay signed then the security guard pushed me to get off the stage. Did you go to the UNIQLO signing on Saturday morning? 100x better plus were allowed to get ANYTHING signed. So I got my copy of Metal Gear Solid for the PS1 signed! And no it's not going on eBay :P

  • @JetLeeSingh666 Security were a nightmare. I had other stuff I wanted signed too but I couldn't get it done. I wish I had gone to the UNIQLO signing now.

  • @CosmicScaleFactor I was there as well, even afterward we were rushed out with them saying 'okay guys, go home' and we were just like "no, we're taking pictures of Kojima

  • @JetLeeSingh666 The HMV security threw people out of the line if they didn't own Peace Walker. My friend who went dressed as The Fear got to the stage and got removed as he only had Snake Eater on him. Bit of a middle finger to all them disappointed fans who lined up for AGES to see him and couldn't get in.

  • @SasoriRenji407 Mate, the signing at Uniqlo opposite John Lewis was 1000x better. The security staff there very polite, courteous and treated us fans like human beings. When I went to get my MGS1 inlay signed, there was such a relaxed attitude. Yoji Shinkawa personalised everything he signed with a little drawing of the fan and Hideo seemed alot happier than he was at the HMV signing. Both recognised me from the day before...as you can tell, the Uniqlo signing was a real boost!

  • wow it looked like there was a ton of people ^^

haha I think they put the allergy advice for people who might sue, and say: "I didn't know salmon was a FISH; you didn't TELL me!"

This reminds me of the jessica simpson tuna/chicken joke.

  • Awesome. I can see the back of my head at 26 secs just before the camera zooms in.

  • so jealous about you getting Kojima's autograph. I though salmon tasted kind of fishy! LOL

  • Oh shit, salmon contains fish? I MUST INFORM EVERYONE.

  • @KeannaCasey YES, YOU MUST INFORM EVERYONE! When you do make sure you tell them I said hi xD

  • OMG at the allergy bit at the end. Nice one getting Kojima's autograph one of the best storytellers ever.

  • @BarryAldridge Metal Gear is all about the story and it's one of my favourite video game franchises. Hideo Kojima is definitely up there with Shigeru Miyamoto as one of the greatest video game designers of all time.

  • @CosmicScaleFactor I agree mate Metal Gear is all about story and character development.

  • oh, the *contains fish* is epic xD

we had some sort of.. nuts once and in the allergy info it said *may contain traces of nuts* xD

  • @Lidespam Also it's also 99% salmon. This makes me wonder what the other 1% is xD

  • @CosmicScaleFactor salt? or... AWESOME?

  • first.

  • @Lidespam First doesn't count unless it's a hashtag #leerulez
