My gosh, why is her distance measured in kilometers? Whats up with that? Please use "miles". This is America. We don't use such measurments. I'm very dissapointed.
I have read several good accounts of what happened. The best so far is by Mike Campbell with Thomas Devine. Thomas Devine was on active duty at Saipan Island where he saw the Electra in a warehouse at Aslito Field. He later saw it burned and buried. Apparently AE was captured and imprisoned and died shortly after her capture and James Forrestal oversaw the destruction of the airplane shortly after the US took control of the island in 1944.
OK i know what happened so shes flying around and she gets tired so she puts it on auto pilot man what an idiot so they're gonna hit something its gonna be a mountain almost dead on impact they fall to the ground then these japanese come up and start beating them to death and they're like NO! NO! we won't take it and they throw the bodies into the river never to be seen again. i know im awsome
I've seen pretty convincing evidence that she was captured and killed by the japs. What incentive would they have to cover that up? We've already had Pearl Harbor.

Amelia Earhart did not die or crash back in the 1920s. She got caught on a warp tunnel and she and her plane was transported about 90 years in the future. She should appear soon around 2011 or 2012.
im really inspired by Amelia.. im doing a biography about her.. so this is the only reason why im watching these videos.. also im wondering wat ever happened to her... during her last flight to Howland Island
I know exactly what happened to her. She couldn't find Howland Island and then ran out of fuel over the ocean. She either died when the plane hit the water, drowned after the plane hit the water, or died a slow death while hoping someone would find her floating on the water. All the evidence points towards those conclusions. People have a hard time accepting the simple truth about her death. They find a need to believe it had to have been something more than getting lost and then dying.
You may have read that, but there is no reason to think that is true. She reported not being able to find the island to refuel and the end result was that she had to crash in the water, which caused her death. Why make more out of it than what it was? It's a simple case.
Earhart did not equal Lindbergh. She was 5 years late in a commercial aircraft with twice the HP loaded with controls. She did not leave from NY she left from Newfoundland and never made it to Paris. She stopped short in a field in Northern Ireland with no one to great her but a farmer. . Her flight was only 14 hrs. 1,000 miles shorter and done in a different decade. Lindbergh flew for 33 hrs and went NY to Paris. In fact, went past it and came back.
for number 4. I am a girl and they have brought us that girls can do the same as boys. we have proved that girls can go around the world in a airplane.
I don't really no any plane names also I have seen the film UP already but thanks anyway. I don't want to be a pilot it's to dangerous for me I would be very scared. I want to be a fashion designer, model and singer and actress
I don't really want to design uniforms thats abit boring. I want to bring out my own clothes line called Lilly sueets for kids and theres another one for adults but Its called my whole name and I can't tell you my name
that would be a dream come true!!! I have seen the film about her life in the cinemas she is just amazing! thank you for the video it was very intresting!
She was not a spy. She did survive though, endured WWII overseas, returned to the U.S. re-identified as one of three women known as one in the same 'Irene Craigmile.' She died in 1982 in the U.S. in Edison, New Jersey. Amelia had a daughter out of wedlock in 1924 no one knew about. Her biological Granddaughter is still living in the U.S. today. THIS was the real reason for the ignorance about, and invention of the Earhart mystery. The rest is bunk.
You need to read the book "Lost Star.' It's about the possibility that Amelia was not only trying to fly around the world but she was on a mission for the United States Government. Her plan was equipt with 2 special cameras to photgraph the Japanese in the pacific.
I know it sounds crazy & I didn't believe it until I read the book & looked at the official document the author finally got the government to release.
Read the book & you decide. But remember this, Julia Child was a spy too.
For more on the Smithsonian's and National Geographic's opinion on the Earhart matter, and updates on the upcoming Hilary Swank Amelia Earhart movie, see the Irene-Amelia website. Notice here, how Ms. Cochrane never mentions the 1966 NY Times best selling book "The Search For Amelia Earhart" by CBS radio journalist Fred Goerner, in which Admiral Nimitz admitted it was quietly 'known and documented in Washington' that Earhart was picked up by Japan in the Marshall Islands.
Read the book "Amelia reborn ". It in publishing house right now and will be available on Amazon and book stores in May.
Main idea of this book: after death our Spirits do not die! It transfers to the new born baby and it continues its journey through the centuries. Habits, experience and knowledge people collect during their lifetime is preserved in the Spirit Body, which is a crystal hologram structure.Spirit of the people ETERNAL.
YES ! I was Amelia in my past life. Lots of facts support this.During my life I also saw many dreams regarding this.
Was Amelia ment to die according to some secret plan ? On the front page of the website you will find the reason why Amelia dissapered.Astonishing secrets are revealed. Through the my past life experiences, Amelia is able to describe the last minutes before her death, why she was lost, the exact location of the airplaine and also why it is incredibly difficult to find her.
i heard dhat she was taken by the jappenese wit this man i forgot his name but dey sed dey took her cuz dey was plannin for new army bases nd all dhat so dey tot she was gonna tell so dey took her into prison ndd she died in prision another rumor was dhat dey had freed her den she moved to new jersey den changed her name i forgot to what name she changed it but wen reporters asked she had sed no IDK iff the rumors are true or faluse
BUT THE LST FLIGHT OR AMILIEA REMAINS A MYSTERY...
The truth began to surface in the 1960s when Ret. US Naval Commander Pillsbury acknowledged how the real story 'staggers the imagination,' and Admiral Chester Nimitz admitted in 1965 how Earhart and Noonan 'ended up in Japan's mandates' as "documented in Wash DC." Our national press has been influenced to skirt and candy coat the truth in ways like the coverage seen here, ever since. The neilnils channel lists a good Earhart site on the web.
Great video very intersting! It has been suggested that Amelia Earhart's Lockheed Electra came down within 200 miles of Howland Island.Hope the mystery will be solved soon.
Has anyone ever successfully completed this flight?

Earhart was better than Lindberg.
Lindberg was an arrogant prick who was also a huge Nazi.

Dear All,
I have some questions about psychology:
(1) Why do we enjoy flying and pilot an aeroplane?
(2) What does flying and aviation mean to females?
(3) Why do girls want to fly high and become a pilot?
(4) Through flying, what have female pilots proved and demonstrated to the world? or, What kind of social value(s) have female pilots brought up?
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

Yes, I agree with you.
Do you think that girls love flying because they enjoy the feeling of freedom and they want challenging themselves?
By the way, do you think that girls prefer smooth flying (eg. flying a 747) than speedy flying (eg. F-15)?
applesweeter 2 years ago
I think girls enjoy any sort of flying it depends on if they like a challenge or if they just want a fun fly around.

Yes, flying is challenge and fun. :)
If you want to be a pilot, will you like to a Boeing 747 jumbo jet or a F-32 fighter?
Moverover, I juts curious. Do you like to pilot a flying house similar to that in the Disney animation moive "UP"?
