He cant have been shot down - the engine on the plane obn the ground was idling steadily. Clearly a glitch, on a low pass it went straight down, not a tip stall or pilot error.

That was indeed an excellent crash! Gordon nichols' B-52 was amazing, but you didnt see the actual crash.

Yeah, great shame, how it nosed in a guess the engine was cruched. Was it a 2 cylinder? sounds like one. Also its a great shame it crashed its a v.nice model. I havn't graduated yet from trainers but i can takeoff, land, do circuits descending/ascending etc and I love it. This is proper aeromodel engineering.

You know the drill....WE BUILD,WE FLY,WE CRASH IT'S A VICIOUS CYCLE BUT I ENJOY IT,SORRY ABOUT YOUR PLANE. Thats what we call the method of rapid disassembly at our club,I believe that one hit so hard dirt flew out of the transmitter!!!!

Wow, what a beautiful plane. Looked like a P47. Shame to lose it. However, that's exactly how you fly a warbird, "on the deck, balls to the walls". Why pussy-foot around with such a machine?
