  • thanks for this recipe....i bought some chia seeds and will make this tomorrow with regular raw milk. (will have to try it with almond milk next time) LOVE YOUR BOOK!

  • Chia is the best way to have a good loaded crap. First thing in the morning get 1 or 2 tablespoons of chia seeds in a glass of warm water, wait 15-30 minutes for it to get jelly, drink it or mix it with your yogurt or milk, etc. Next day you'll have the biggest clean crap ever!

  • Mimi why does my chia have a soapy after taste???? Is this normal???

  • @BabyKieransParty it should not have any soapy taste at all. Are you sure the dish you were using had been rinsed throughly after washing?

  • @ub52209 Yes anyway I use castel soap so it would not even have that taste. Its the chia I have it has a soapy after taste. maybe I should return them. because I really wanted to like them but the taste puts me off. Maybe the batch I got are contamanated...

  • i love the hat!! - i have never tried chia- do you buy it at the health food store?--missy i just love how you talk your recipe out- i would like to see a video on creating the perfect pantry and fridge- once we get the basics and if we know how to create to begin with- it could be so much fun-- have you done your version of stuffed grape leaves? i grow my own leaves- never use the jar stuff- Mimi! your a breath of fresh air!! much love shelly
