  • @ROYALNIGGERZ I was going to rip this song from someones hard drive until the told me more about these guys; and you are right, they deserve every penny. I own two of their albums. This is one of the sounds that got me thru some of those homesick feelings when i was deployed, so thank you Blue Scholars; your music had a profound impact on my life

  • Sounds like I'm playing the Sims at the beginning.

  • Pretty leftist lyrics.

  • dam found this by chance am hooked

  • connects to me as a middle eastern, god blue is soooo skilled

  • I thought it was farsi? Since Sabzi is persian. It's for sure not Tagalog and I'm sure it ain't illocano or some other filipino dialect.

    Great song btw :)

  • Its for sure tigirnya.

  • nyce nyce

  • what language is being spoken at the beginning of the track?

  • im pretty sure its tagalog

  • nope, it's not Tagalog. It's one of the Languages from Iran, it's from Sabzi's side.

I listen to Blue Scholars everyday. this is a true story not just for Filipinos, but also for all the people fighting for a better life. I'm a proud Filipino & I struggle everyday in another land for that slice of a pie. Together with my friends, (Filipinos, Blacks, Mexicans & many more) sweat, tears, & blood are part of our everyday struggle.

    Thanks for posting this song!

    BLUE SCHOLARS = True HipHop!

  • no its from ethiopia and eritirea its called tigrinya

  • do you know what it says?

a translation would be much appreciated

  • @Ap0colyps6 yea it's from Eritrea and some parts of Ethiopia, called Tigrinya (one of oldest languages)

    translation (I am fully fluent)

"Hey, my brother, how are you doing?"

"Good, and how are you my sister?"

"Oh, fine. who were you talking with on the phone?"

"Oh my brother, he was asking me to send him money"

"Money? From where will you get this money (jokingly). Ha, well we must work hard here to try to better the lives of our brothers and sisters"

    "That's the truth"

  • good shit

  • smexy

  • hi max it is hubert

  • hi. . .

  • This song probably isnt new, but i couldnt find a good version on youtube so i put it up. I agree with you, Sagaba is awesome, n its not only Filipino people that this happens to

  • Oh this song just got on? Damn. This song is the shiets! I think that Sagaba is the best song ever, but listening to this song makes me respect my Filipino elders much more. What the say is so true. They break their backs just to support their family not only here, but at their hometown also. They come here for freedom and a better life, but they work harder than ever. It's sad.
