That story about the E.U. developing grub bug protein isn't that bad. There are certain grub bugs that can be farmed and taste pretty good when prepared correctly. Westerners are a bit picky about what protein they eat. I'm open to cheap protein that doesn't involve global agra practices. Bug farming could even help people who live free and off the grid as protein to supplement normal meat. People do need a good number of grams to stay healthy.

However, low budget families using bug farming to supplement their normal diet is GOOD. I can assure you that the right preparation methods and the right grub bug could go down tasting surprisingly good. An elderly Indian lady chef is advised though...LoL. Any market system will require the classes with less money to adapt while those with all the real wealth increase their profit margins and expand their operations. Eating bugs is just a fact of life for many American Proles that live in a thrive or die society. The rich have no legal responsibility to ensure that you can eat meat at everyday low prices.
