..i can feel myself trying to like this band ..but they realllly don't do what Hole does for me. annoying because i really like the vocals in this band; I found this whilst searching for grunge bands with female singers, so ar i've come across L7 , seven year bitch this and the distillers...for me hoel beat them all by a long shot. i like Brody's vocals too bust its like i wish they would do softer things .

could anyone recomen some more grunge bands with female singers for me to check out?

@Sillilesshells Try " babes in toy land", the band that courtney love got inspired from and totally ripped their look. Veruca salt is amazing though, i love their lyrics, it's a little more optimistic than courtney love's.

@movingon4ever Nicole Fiorentino is a pretty good singer. Plus she's amazing on bass. VS have had some basic bass stuff from what I remember so that's an improvement

The only thing I don't get is that it's like something happened to Louise's voice post-8 arms.

"Wet Suit "off Resolver is a keeper. her voice has apparently changed some, or maybe its just the dynamic that she presents it in now? no more poppish Nina to offset Louise's harder style. I adore Louise so.but i miss Veruca Salt back in the day.
