Dude, with all due respect, come off it! Right now he's the second best swimmer ever for 100 fly and the best ever 50 fly (WR set like 3 weeks ago, 22:46 half a second below the previos record), and those are just facts. All other swimmers, all of them, have the suit as well and they don't seem to swim that fast. I'll give you one thing, though, I can't wait to see him face to face with the super champ Phelps!

phelps went 50.58 with a shitty touch and in the lzr, not in the jaked (although this doesnt matter as phelps will wear the lzr in rome due to sponsorship). crocker was, in his prime, much better than either of them, though, because he went 50.40 in an fs2 legs in an outdoor pool. I think though that cavic, phelps, and munoz will have a great battle come july, regardless of suits. perhaps a sub-50 swim?

well, you cannot actually PROVE that the suit does anything. Personally, I am against any suit that aids buoyancy ie the blueseventy or the jaked, but rafa's best before this swim was a 51.. so its not like he wasnt already very good. a great many swimmers have taken off much more than this in one meet. Ian Crocker's 50.98wr at 2003 world champs is a good example of this kind of thing happening before.
