The fire was real but Taker was not in the casket there is a trap door in which is used to get out. Thats why they put the casket right on the ring so Taker can get under the ring w/out being seen. The bad part about having the casket so close to the ring for that stunt was that Shawn hurt his back when Taker flipped him over the ropes, but being the pro that HBK is he finished the match and went on to face Stone Cold at the following Wrestlemania
